Clafoutis (French pronunciation: โ[klafuti]; Occitan: clafotรญs [klafuหtis / kสafuหtiห]), sometimes in Anglophone countries spelled clafouti, is a baked French dessert of fruit, traditionally black cherries, arranged in a buttered dish and covered with a thick flan-like batter. I do mine with apples.
