I figured out a good way to survive around the 20 levels, first, if there are statues, put them at the same distance and next to each other enough to where there is space for something. If there are no statues, make one out of houses, but that is harder than the statue thing. Anyway, when you have it, pick up the villagers and drop them into the little crevice between the statues/houses, and so far I've counted 8 in between them without escape. Oh and to kill them, use the needle thing or the power glove
