Pretty good game and original concept. The simulation is a bit unstable though: even on linear parts, ie, just pressing left or something like that, you can apreciate small deviations on jump length & height, which make the game a bit maddening on the harder levels.
Right after the pursuing laser scrolling down, when you pass trough the door there's no wall on the left - you can fall out of the level and get trapped :S
The game is nice, but lacks feedback for the user. You have no idea what weapon upgrades are, controls are largely unexplained, the appearance of extra runs for levels are not explained, etc...
Not a bad game, but it gets to a point where your earnings are so ridiculous that you just plow through levels, making it more of a clicking game to unlock the hardest challenges than an idle game.
Very nice game, too easy though. The money system could use a little revision, its way too easy to buy everything, you can just skip from the first to the last weapon and forget about the others since they dont offer anything worth the money.
I like the idea, but there are a few caveats and bad design ideas here:
1- Brick translucency. Please drop it, makes the bricks too hard to see.
2- Background. Distracting on the first levels, just annoying later on when it begins to flash on you.
3- Ball physics. Half of the time you just don't know where the ball is going to end, or at what speed for that matter. I've seen the ball pass through bricks a few times too, and very strange bounces when colliding with bricks in tight formation.
4- Lack of powerups. Makes the levels kind of dull, specially the ones with bricks with a lot of life.
5- And this is just a personal opinion, but the graphics are not that good...
There should be a short invulnerability time after being hit, having a life bar serves no purpose when you can get hit 2 times in a row so fast you die anyway.
There is no middle ground? Last time I played was so hard i couldn't even dream about beating level3, now is so easy I made it throught it in under 1 minute
