Chests are sometimes unlockable, basically you get wrecked by RNG unless you have purchased the (consumable) key. I have to pop 3 purple boxes, but only 2 are on the board? Great. Also, the combat takes forever, I'm currently 4 combats into the 10th dungeon and bored out of my mind. The combat itself contains too much RNG, random stuns that are completely unavoidable when single blocks get tagged is incredibly annoying, as are all hero abilities that doesn't deal direct damage.
I hate this game, 4/5
The story of the questline is what made me keep playing at early levels, but progression is too slow, so you either turn to raiding/pvp or just outright quit. After a bit of raiding I realize that all this game is now is a gearhunt, which is a bit sad. I had a good run, but now I'm putting my Farmhand Breeches on the shelf. Have fun, the rest of you!
The difficulty is bullshit, I complete a difficulty 40 without problem, but on a difficulty 27 I get swarmed by fighters destroying me generators before I can even get enough stuff out to fight them. Took some grinding to get money for upgrades to make it a cakewalk.
Great game otherwise, 4/5!

That's my point, trading boxes for cards will never happen, even at a 2:1 ratio. They throw boxes at you, then spits in your face stating that they're useless unless you buy keycards. It's fuel bait, just like the ridiculously long upgrade times at higher levels. When I first played, I rated this game 5/5, because it's simply awesome. Havn't played a better browserbased TBS in years. Now, because of all these "use fuel if you wanna enjoy the game", it's 3/5. It's not even beneficial to buy fuel, because you can easily waste hundreds of dollars worth of it in doing missions alone, PER DAY. Plus, doing that only means you'll level up and finish everything faster, and since it's still a beta (I'm amazed on how they complete the microtransaction system BEFORE making an endgame), there isn't much to do later on. I've followed and supported Con since the first Last Stand, and the fact that he's started to live up to his name now baffles me.
I see alot of comments about how you should be able to "trade HERC boxes for keycards" and "make the droprate for keycards higher".
Sorry for sounding like a douche, but do you think they'll implement that for real? If you could find/trade for keycards, why would you buy them? And if you don't buy stuff, because you find everything you need in those awesome boxes, how would they earn tons of cash from microtransactions?
Just my P.O.V. on things, don't let that stop you. <3
I don't get why Lujunyi gets downrated, it's a fair point. If you don't buy fuel to shorten construction and return times, you get an idle game you visit 3-4 times per day. Not to mention that it lacks an endgame.
This is a good game, it's just that they're milking us for money that makes me a bit sad.
The gameplay is fun at first, and the idea is just amazing. One thing I didn't like, though, was how you have to restart with nothing if you die. Yay, this feels incredibly rewarding! The exp system kept it interesting at first, but when I sit for 15 minutes just to see the bar fill up half-way, urging me to play another 15 minutes in hope of achieving something worthwile, I simply lost interest.
The cake is a lie.
It's tedious enough to grind ONE of the ducks up to acceptable skill levels. Training a second or a third is simply more than I wish to waste time on... These series used to be awesome, but this is just...
How the f*ck can you mess up placing a f*cking STAKE?!
And furthermore, what kind of vampire slayer needs 3 good aims before even trying to behead the sucker?!
@LaBaDa
Common sense involves a certain degree of logic thinking. Why would the zombie realise that it could point the gun at you and pu... Oh, nvm, just discovered the Advanced Unloaded Pistol thingy.
Decrease the enemies HP and increase their numbers. That would make combat faster at the same times as it really feels like a "battle" instead of "4 guys having at eachother".
With the risk of being downrated, I agree with those above. It's tedious with almost no noticable progression whatsoever. It's not even fun. You just jump, watch the guy fall for a couple of secz, do it all again, earn enough money to buy a trick...
I'll try and find out what the issue is for you and Sleepyrivertroll, I'll contact the Kong guys about it ( Sorry about the inconvenience ).
