The biggest issue I can see is the inventory slots. I agree with the others but I don't see them as huge concerns. The inventory slots become a huge problem when a piece of treasure drops that you don't have room for, so you will need to drop something in order to pick it up. While doing so however, your pet gets attacked by a monster that has just popped, and you can't get there to help him because you can't walk across items that you haven't picked up. I've had a number of pets die this way and it's an absolutely ridiculous flaw. One that would be solved - as many have suggested - by having more inventory slots, or having equipped items not count towards your inventory. The other issues I've seen mentioned are annoying, but are more things that would make the game easier, not necessarily inherent problems. Very enjoyable if that issue were fixed.
Had a creepy Tim Burton feel to it, which I enjoyed, and the artwork is wonderful. But I agree with so many others, not much of a "game" in the strictest sense.
So if I've selected the continue game option ONCE I can't EVER get new medals? Even if I start a new game and DON'T ever continue? That really sucks. I hope it's a glitch.
would be a great game except for the screen scrolling left and right on it's own when i try to shoot in that direction. Actually made targeting anything a ridiculous pain in the ass.
I have found every recipe except the last one (below the three egg recipes) and the fifth last one (right above the three egg recipes. Anyone know what these last two recipes are? I assume they involve the eggs . . .
Very impressed with this game. I haven't used a walkthrough, and completed all but 1 of the puzzles (the one with the green line of blocks at the bottom - i've figured out HOW it works, but haven't come up with the combination yet). For half of them i got frustrated over them, then went "ooooooooooh" once i figured it out and felt kind of dumb afterwards. In most escape games i get stuck at one point and seriously annoyed because there's some object i was supposed to get that i've overlooked and you can't move forward without it. This one is impressive for being strictly problem solving, even though it lacks what most other escape games have in "plot." Very enjoyable.
