Four endings, actually. 1. Cure zombieism: Requires three labs, 5 scientists (or 10? I forget) and everything else researched. 2. Control every tile on the map. 3. Destroy the dark portal. Requires 10 solders, must control Evil Graveyard. 4. Draft a constitution. Must have 5 leaders and control City Hall.
How to beat Paladin as a fighter:
Have Regeneration Lv. 3, Aggression Lv. 1, Heroic Motivation Lv. 1/3, Smash Lv. 3, and Reform Lv. 1/3, and level 1 Wound. (Heroic and Reform are interchangeable.)
2. Place 1 wound, 3 smash, 1 Agg, 1 Reform or Heroic, and fill the rest as you want. Keep in mind the paladin did ~69 damage to me, and he has a move that x4 damages.
3. Equip your ally with the Survival gear from the store.
4. Fight! The healing move is disheartening, but it drains his Focus like crazy, and he has no moves that regain focus.
5. You will eventually wear him down. Good luck!
Notes:
Why?
Heroic Motivation:
It'll heal for ~300 if you're in the same situation I was, and remove 3 debuffs, which is what you NEED with a 4-turn stun he'll throw at your team.
Regeneration:
Keeps you from running low on focus.
Aggression:
Boosts the Paladin's attacks by 500 points per attack!
How to beat the Baron as a fighter:
1. Respec
2. Get at least Aggression lv. 1 and Heroic Motivation lv. 3, and Regeneration (You'll need at least 1 point in Iron Skin). Put the rest whereever (Wound will make the battle go quicker, but it'll take up a slot and use up Focus. More points into Regeneration means that's less likely to happen)
3. Put 3 HMs on the bar and 1 Agg. Fill the rest with defensive moves.
4. Buff the Paladin, keep your team healed. This works pretty well.
