Just for people asking how it's possible to get past 25 fast, try with different builds. Make investments, people now a days just want the answers handed to them but then it wouldn't be a game would it? I easily got to 100 yesterday within rounds of the game, and now today with the new update its even easier! (I did a hard rest). Good game, excited to see how you change it. If anyone as any specific questions I feel like I have a good grasp so far and I can give some hints on how to get further. My first hint is investing goes a LONG LONG way in this game.
Holy crap, I have never cringed so hard at a game. The controls sometimes just dont work, the art is horrid, the constant money grubbing. This game needs its badges taken away, I usually stick through bad games at least until I get the badges to see if they are worth while. But this one is just too terrible. The levels are super easy up until the controls just stop working. It's truly a wonder how you even have 3.9 rating average
Yes Idiron, I finally beat all levels on hard. For the last level I sent all my guys to the warp. Then took the bottom left station, then back to warp and bottom right station. I ignored the planets. Once I had all 4 stations I got close to max pop. Sent my 2 right stations to the right warp, the 2 left stations to the left warp, then I warped both groups (about 400) and overtook it. Previous plays I tried 300 and got close but then it would send reinforcements and I'd lose all my guys. If you start to take over the middle though you will win regardless of how many planets or anything you have. Just take the middle for the last level.
Was almost done with the game when I figured out the dog could bark. Also a lot of levels can be completed extremely fast if you are clever with darcy instead of doing the long puzzles
When this game came on kongregate I played it in its early release and thought it was a terribly made game. But when a developer comes on, listens to the comments, makes it into a much much better game and fun that means a lot to people like me. Changing my rating to 5 stars, thanks for being another developer that cares!
You can't skip 45 and 75 for they are boss levels. And there is a trick to every one, I thought some were hard until I "figured it out". Then that level became easy. Just beat level 75, a lot of the tricks have to do with timing and positioning.
The music is actually really off. For instance if you hit the notes you see when you hear them, you will completely miss them, thats what it was like at least on Fairest one of all. Try it out. Fun game otherwise
Also, plasma is overpowered, seriously does a ton of damage. With full upgraded weapons it takes about 10 seconds to kill the first boss, unless i use plasma, with 1 aff and 1 poison 4 split shot and 2 splash. it took like 2 seconds
Game is easy, bosses are easy. Especially hyperion is one of the easiest, he has extremely predictable bullet outline. Stop complaining and just practice a bit and you'll get the hang of it.
