What is the logic behind the upgrade prices. When I worked on getting everything to 300 the prices for getting everything to level 300 increased in weird ways. The last upgrade cost
Oil 16 quit, banks 22, movies 30, , hockey 39, shrimp 49 quitillions etc...the crappier the biz the more expensive the upgrade of level....only exception was the lemonstand.
Is tis a bug or a feature?
Make use of the user info from Kongregate, do not force people to sign in into your game, especially if you cannot handle logins from facebook and similar as an option.
Unfortunately, this game is not played out all at once. Users take turns and then leave and they are emailed when it is their turn. It also tracks all their wins/losses and has an internal game chat and forum. All of this is programmed internally and needs a way to track each user that plays. So I cannot really use these other login sources because I need the info saved into the game's internal database to work correctly.
This game has great potential and could easily be stretched into semi infinity but some basic testing and fixing would be great. If not interested in fixing it, why not let the community fix it.
Classic USA bashing though the USA have not been part of preemptive military agression since the mid 18-hundreds. Sarcasm only works when its true.
Actual gameplay, not a bad first try.
Well, I guess it's not technically based off reality, since there have not yet been any full blown nuclear wars ;)
The (heavily exaggerated) US bashing is based off the US's refusal to back down during the Cuban missile crisis. And from the fact I've watched Dr. Strangelove a good deal too many times.
I would have picked on the USSR, but there are already enough games which do that (Red Alert ftw)
