I can't smash the basement zombie with anything? I mean c'mon, I have at least 3 functional blunt weapons right now, and even if it turns around and kills me, I should at least be able to try :p
Avatar certainly isn't MacGyver; the stuff I have now is more than enough to do whatever it is I need to do.. with cunning and an ample sprinkling of force
Game bugged on pig hunter quest; can't move, but can open menu.. does no good, though.. can't equip weapon, interact with anything, and although being shot at, shield does not go away. Not playing through the whole thing again when comments indicate this is fairly common.
I sort of left the "critical" training game running for some 11 hours while I was gone.. it didn't progress my missions, but since there's a "passive" perfect, I sure got a lot of skill points and levels from it.. :p
It would be really nice if there was a use for all the extra support towers one tends to make in the later rounds of the game, especially at the later fields. For example, if you fill out your melee support towers, and haven't managed to level up the melee to the next rank, and accidentally create 3 of that level while trying to do other stuff. Presently, it seems you have to swap those support towers for existing ones, even though they are identical. It would be nice if those support towers could be combined into one of the next level, or at least deleted easily rather than wasting the time to place it.
Game is really tedious.. If you aren't into redoing the same thing over and over and over for basically no reason (collecting a bunch of costume parts you won't use), this is the game for you. Controls are not nearly as responsive as they should be, and lag sets in exceptionally early... I was lagging by halfway through the first zone, making the game basically unplayable.. Cats level pretty slowly, and gear, while useful, has major drawbacks; sets mean empty slots and the bonuses don't seem (for the most part) as good as strictly gearing for stats..
Could be a good game, but honestly just isn't.
it would be really nice if rodent/insect/waterborn transmission could breach countries with locked borders... without fail, even with no visible symptoms whatever, I can't get every country infected, and the remaining one(s) nearly always have land borders with infected countries... shutting down borders wouldn't stop rodents or insects, as our real-life difficulties with bubonic plague and malaria have shown... not so realistic for being realistic mode ^_^
