If you are an alien, the best ships for combat are the hunter and raider, i prefer the raider because it is just as fast as the sprinter, but is way more powerful.
Forget what i said, dont use either, use Xandelvium blaster, it does more damage and travels faster than either.
Type 1 canivore is best, but if your ship doesn't work well at close range, use type 2
I only have 620 somthing.
