About the walkthrough issue... The little lightbulb on the bottom is a hint. It will always give you two groups that have at least one combo, but it takes three minutes to recharge.
I say this is a 4/5, grammar aside. The most difficult part is probably the whole thing with overheating, which it takes too much time to cool after and heats up again too quickly at times. I just rapidly click, since I can get off only a few less bullets but with less heat and can figure out how many it takes to kill each unit.
While I haven't played the game yet, I want to point out cicla is from the Dominican Republic. I learned to check profiles when people complain about bad grammar, and most of the time that I check it's somebody in a foreign country. I don't mean to offend any others who have commented, but bear in mind there are certain conditions to some developers. English likely isn't cicla's first language, and I can relate to the grammar issues with how horrible I can be at going into detail in French. English has a lot of weird rules to it, (I.E: I before E except after C or when said as A as in neighbor or weigh, but then we have weird) and some people have likely rated lower than they should because of the grammar issues. I do think, though, that developers should consider putting something about English being their second language to avoid that, and cicla should consider including that in the notes or something. Now to actually play the game!
040334: If you check on DJStatika's profile, he says he might make a sequel, and on the Ben Olding site, Ben had a forum going for a while about a second CtA. It might be a long way off, but not impossible.
Blindbunny: Warlords: Heroes is a sequel, but was done as a one vs army combat game. If you check on DJStatika's profile, then he says he'll work on a sequel in the future, and on the Ben Olding games website, there is a fairly old forum where he and several users discussed various ideas for a second one.
Here's a hint for later levels: Expanion is key. I've won some levels just by having planet A have basic facilities, while planet B is all power and mines, and planet C is torpedos with an IP missile silo.
GamePwnage... It saves for me. Have you tried exiting to the sector attacking screen before quitting? Since I started doing that, it's started to save.
Needs a way to exit campaign, since it doesn't seem to save for me and I don't like that a skirmish blocks everything so you need to go through campaign to research but having to start all over again to play skirmish...
