I like this short little game. It's simple and atmospheric, with a good ending. Not much is explained, but at least we know it's about someone named Pete in a coma. Fun to play.
This game is beyond emotional. It really gets in your mind and leads you along. It gives you a sense of purpose. Your purpose is to listen to the protagonist. You have to get everything out, cut off all the memories. But then, you come to realize that no, this is wrong. You have to keep everything, that he will be a part of the protagonist. Not only a part of the protagonist, but part of you. This will stick with me for a long time, the story, the minimalist art, and the calming music will not be forgotten. This is a game that everyone who likes art should play. This isn't a game. It's a work of art.
The reason why I love this game is because it seems quite balanced. Everyone has similar things, with similar hitboxes, similar gear, etc, etc. There'll be the occasional player with great gear and skill, but they're still easily killed by the guy who's fumbling with his gun. You can get ambushed out of nowhere and still retaliate and defeat your attacker.
I loooove this game, it's so similar to TF2, my favorite video games. At first i thought the Needler was a rip off of Halo, but then i found the resemblance between the Syringe Gun and the Needler. So many good video game gun references!
I legitimately enjoyed this game. I knew that something had to happen when I let go, but I just found myself wanting to just keep going. It's just brilliant.
All the characters are ones from Realm of the Mad God. I mean, the games sure are different, but, couldn't they think up something original for the characters?
My god! Mr. Skutnik, you amaze me. Your games amaze me. Your games are incredibly hard to solve, yet incredibly fun. The art is amazing (I don't know if you did it or not) and the photography is beautiful. You are my favorite developer, and i just want to say thank you.
