While I appreciate the extended late game content, the old UI is better in pretty much every way. The new interface is unintuitive, clunky, and less informative. The achievement popup covers the donut icon. The businesses are no linger named on the main screen. There is nothing to indicate that the stats/mute/import export screen button is actually a button. It just looks like a tiny display and does not look like a thing to click on. There is nothing to distinguish the cost/profit buttons on the main screen and they look more like displays than buttons. There isn't anything to indicate that the 1x/10x/100x button is actually a button. A new user would not know to click on it. The only reason I figured it out was because I already knew it was a feature and knew to look for it. Pretty much everything about the new UI needs to be changed. At this point I think it would be easier and better overall to just switch back to the old interface than to try to salvage the new one.
The later mines just don't scale up enough. The increase in value is way too small to make up for the increased gather times. There also isn't enough documentation for what rebirthing does. The lack of commas in the numbers also makes it tedious to count the digits to try to figure out how much things cost. The mine you have selected isn't highlighted, so I've upgraded the wrong mine several times. The instructions has every word capitalized, which is pointless and annoying (and misspelled hire). Overall, this needs a major rebalancing and an improved interface.
