@purplegrate Nope, I have to spam forward as well of my troops hang back by the keep. This is an old game though, so I doubt anything will ever change. Get the badge and move on to a newer game of the same style if you like it.
Turning off screen shake does not turn off screen shake. Also, the buttons don't always become clickable when production finishes if the cursor is over them. It seems I have to move the cursor off the buttons and back.
This being a badge of the day made me realize I gave it to high of a rating at 2/5 whenever I had a reason to last look at it. Changed to 1/5 and forgetting about it again.
Also, when showing results a click on the box could instantly display them instead of showing them one by one or just closing that window and going to the next without seeing the results.
Saw and tried to play the game yesterday, but out of timers. Tried again today, click 2 things and out of timers. All I can do is gamble resources away. Seems lame.
Doing some quick checks with the fame I saved up while idle, it seems like you get more credits per second for each unit of fame buying the credit generator than you get buying credit founder. As someone mentioned before, you would be better off spending fame on just the job and ignoring the last one. I have not checked all the jobs in between; that would take a lot of time and fame. Given the rate at which credits per second per unit of fame spent is increasing; (4.364 at level 112 and slowly rising; about 2.5 in the 20's for all jobs) you are probably better off ignoring all jobs but the first one in terms of credit return for fame spent.
The buttons on the job page jumps up and down when clicking multiple times on a job as the level/cost line linewraps with certain number combinations. That gets annoying fast.
The Raiders require different amounts of experience for the same level. My first raider is currently 75 and requires 143.37k exp to level. My last raider is level 39 and requires 284.86k experience to level. If this is intentional (scaling like the cost of the jobs, maybe) it should be clearly stated as it seems broken.
I find the UI very annoying. The constant jiggling of the shapes and buttons bugs my eyes, and at times the buttons cover most of a group of colors squares. Twice I had it fail me on a level when it was done correctly, and repeating the same steps after failing would have it pass.
The "you've passed a friend" prompt stops idle game play until you click it. Kinda messes up leaving the game running while not paying attention to it. It would be nice if it didn't interrupt it. When I have an auto clicker running the whole game freezes when this window pops up.
On my 3rd match I ended up with cards all requiring iron or crystal, still at +0 sec for those resources, and doing a few discards. I'm not a fan of card style games to begin, but getting stuck like this killed any interest I had in it. Fortunately, I got lucky getting the badge of the day and can now ignore this game.
@Tyrrano: Put an unranked explorer as the last ship in your fleet. When you attack, first send the explorer alone until it dies. Once dead, send the rest of the fleet and win. Your ranking will still drop. Any grey ship works but the explorer has half the plating. Ship experience is transfered at 100% (I think) so if you auto burn to the grey ship just replace it when you have more. At level 1 it has almost no repair time.
Would be nice if you could stop the special sale window from constantly popping up, just like you can stop the window that suggests tasks to do. Get's annoying to have to repeatedly close it.
laggy controls, annoying sounds, flashing colors make the map hard to see, respawn throws me into death half the time just to respawn again. I assume this is all intentional but this game pissed me off. 1/5 even though someone who likes this $#!@ or "gets" the message would probably give it a 4/5.
A possible balance issue to keep an eye on, I popped out my battle mages and rangers and spam clicked force battle and they almost sit still chain killing the mobs. I farmed about 500 cobolt from the magic armor in the time it would have taken to mine less than 50, and did not count all the other ore that drops from different monster types during that time. You can get a lot of lower types of ore from fighting right now.
You still have bugs with the achievements. The ones showing 2 and 3 gems as the reward only award 1 gem. Just got "Treasure Hunter" and reset the "reach level XXX" ones and got one gem for each of those.
You can still reset the "reach level XXX" achievement. Got to level 99, give it time to save, reload, go to level 100, 200, and 300 to get 1 gem for each achievement again. They display the correct max level you got to, but they are greyed our and get re-awarded after reloading the game at a lower level.
Well, I'm sorry to tell you this... but you're terrible at the game :P
In all seriousness though, I can see that happening with a lot of the levels I consider to be "easier" than others. They were designed to be visually appealing/fun to watch rather than difficult. The game was intended to be "easy" which is why I've provided no real incentive to be faster/more efficient.
Another bug. When you reload the game the area reached achievement resets to the level you were on. Beat level 100 and get your gem. Drop under 100, kill one or two mobs, reload the game, and the Traveller achievement will be clear, and re-awarded when you go back to 100.
Same thing happens for see the world, and that one shows 2 gems as a reward but only gives one like the others.
Yeah, it's all still under development and I intend to take it out soon
