Could you guys not put bosses in the game? Or at least if you do, have more of an emphasis on platforming instead of just shoot it a lot.

I'd prefer if when you die without saving, you lose everything you had collected since. I would guess this would make the player feel more like they had something to lose, and as a result, care more about the weird little guy?
