Why has, perhaps with the most recent update, the enemy's usable skills stopped flashing? I admit, I relied on that heavily for reasons of eyesight and poor focus sometimes...

There is a menu setting to enable/disable this. Maybe you accidentally turned it off? Or maybe we accidentally disabled it by default? Either way, check the setting and it should be easy to fix.

I very much like this game - very engrossing! I have one big issue, and it's not with gameplay: it needs some optimization. As I play, it starts to bog down big time, using more and more memory, until it's maxing out what my computer can handle, at which point I have to end task and reload the page. It take about half an hour to an hour to get really bad, but the sudden stops it causes with increasing frequency as gameplay proceeds is a gameplay-killer.

There's a memory leak in Firefox. If you switch to Chrome, this problem is mostly fixed. Otherwise, there's a downloadable version coming soon.

I would like to second and third everyone who says this is a great game! I just wish there were more level, but I guess that's what the Factions Evolved will be for. There is indeed very much you could do with this game! It's wonderful!

Part 1: One major issue with the completion of the missions involving completion time (e.g. Clear Within 35 Seconds on 2-7). It may be impossible to complete some based on your computer, because it uses some combination of internal and external timer that doesn't account for lag. And there is definite lag, when I start getting more than a dozen, dozen and a half creatures on the board. For example, with wizard and all skills beyond 200+ I can one-hit-kill my way through 2-7 and get 45-49 seconds each run. I can turn nitro boost on, and suddenly time goes up to 1min6sec-1min9sec. The nitro boost would speed things up but takes into account the doubling speed as doubling time, but lag is the limiting factor, hence it can't actually double the speed despite doubling the timer speed, and it artificially inflates the time. This also indicates, since the time nearly doubled and I know it wasn't due to the early waves which do double in speed,

I have confirmed the bug with targetting. It is the fire towers, toward creatures that have been given the burning state. All fire towers, no other towers, are affected. I have clusters of towers by type, I have water towers on one side, air on the other (with confusion), fire in the middle. The fire tower gives the burning state. Suddenly, all fire towers stop targetting hat creature. It walks over to the air towers, and they begin attacking it. Confusion causes it to walk backward through fire area and up toward the water towers. The fire towers ignore it, but the water towers attack it. Finally, confusion wears off again, and it walks back through the region of fire towers completely ignored by the fire towers, until it gets to the area of air towers where they once again attack it. Only ever happens with fire towers and the burning state.

Two major bugs. One with targetting: occasionally, for reasons I know not, several towers, usually of one element type, will stop targetting a target. It seems to be, but may not be, related to the burning effect since it seems to typically be the fire creatures not targetting burning individuals. The second one is the opposite, where occasionally creatures seem to suddenly become impossible to kill, immortal. The weakest creature will walk through a coridor lined with my strongest creatures, and take no damage, waltzing to the exit.

I could see it being a great game, and from what others have said, indeed kudos for not making it an energy system game (I've taken to turning those off as soon as I encounter them). Unfortunately, for reasons unknown to me, as soon as I get my secondary character, the first battle has a big arrow denoting that it's that characters turn, and nothing in the world seems to be able to get the game to do anything. The timer moves, but it's just that dimmed screen with a big arrow pointing at one of the enemies, and nothing moves, no button affects anything, it's still responsive because I can click that ball on the side that in the home screen says you must be level 5 to click it, but in the battle all it gives is a brief message about having to be in the home screen to use it. Please advise on workaround or fix?

BUG: Game failed out due to lack if memory (for some reason, as I play, the amount of memory devoted to the game always rises higher and higher and higher). I had 4 lives. Quickly log back in, and I have -6 lives. Not 6, not 0, negative 6. Trying to play, it demands that I purchase 13 lives. I've recommended this before, I'll repeat: the lives system is like an energy system, and should be removed. Especially if it's going to be subject to bugs like this. Basically, I just returned to the game after time away due to the lives system (because hey, I kinda suck), only to have it make it so that the next time I will be able to play is late tonight. Even without the bug, I'd have to set it aside for most of the day.

especially when the game seems prone to not ending levels properly (you kill everything, but level doesn't end, and ships just float around in center w/ nothing to do) causing you to have to surrender to end the level. That uses a life. To a glitch. You should really remove the 'lives' system.

I almost absolutely love the game. My only qualm is the 'lives' thing. In campaign mode, it adds zilch to the game, but can suddenly hose one up, causing them to leave the game and do something else. Platinum isn't common enough to use up regenerating this. So I am more productive at the things I need to do, but end up not coming back to the game... It's an energy system, in its way, albeit one that punishes those that want to strive to the greatest difficulty.

The 'War Of Attrition' - Druid plus multiple 'you must attack this machine/creature' monsters, have become the norm in tower. Seems to require a specialized setup to defeat at all, but even that is incapable of doing so within the timeframe given most of time, because DPS. Key I've found: Spellsword to remove curing and forced targeting, stunner to stun druid, my own druid to heal my own, 1x directed DPS to damage their druid. Once their druid is dead, you can focus elsewhere. Got this setup to work once. Ever. Which is more than any other setup I've tried...

Recently has been giving an issue: game starts taking up more and more memory until it's used up everything my computer has to give. Starts off unusually high on load, and becomes immense within a mere few Does so within a mere few battles. I've tries things like restarting computer, doesn't stop it from happening. Only way to fix seems to be closing the game and opening again, often mid-battle (so don't get credit for battle) because it's freezing up. Using firefox. Any others having this issue?

It would be a great game... but, mostly, for the energy system. At moderate levels, one can only piddle around on the game for 10 minutes, and then it will be an hour before another 10 minutes; even moderate levels, less and less sustainable. Benefits for different uses of gems don't match the cost in gems, so combined with the exponential needs for things like food (energy system) but only linear growth in supply, one would need to start paying RL cash to proceed as though playing a game at all... not good. Numerically you will eventually reach a point where you will have only 4-5 campaign battles, or 4-5 catacombs battles, before you need to wait an hour to refill your food, and you only get 1 tower run per 3 hours, so unless you like the PVP (I'm not terribly fond of normal PVP in almost any game), you're done for an hour. Unless paying out in cash, repeatedly, constantly, expensively, and to no long-term benefitly.

A peculiar bug... I finally really focused on my tower, to get its defenses up and running, using tactics learned while fighting through those of others. I was surprised as my defenses still failed to defeat the incoming attackers. So I watched the video. The first member of their party died on floor 1, the rest died on floor 2. I won. But it still says 0/1 successful defenses for the day, and 0/28 defenses total. I literally just watched them be defeated but the game is calling it an unsuccessful defense. Makes me wonder how many others were, but I can only go back a few defenses ago.

The one revlon commercial that just has a survey is broken; it's impossible to get it to give reward, whether you wait and click I'm Done, whether you click finish, whether you wait until I'm Done and click finish, and no matter what series of options you choose in the advertisement (should not affect anyway).

I seem to have encountered a possible glitch. (I've been playing for a year, so this is not a noob-related glitch) When I try to log in, my little guy walks in the blank screen until it finally says 'socket server security error: Error #2048. Connection failed. Retrying.' But it eventually just goes back to the main screen.
