Hey dev, nice game. Suggestions: some pop-ups of numbers indicating gain, double block, the chance of X color popping up, etc. A gain per second for each color would be amazing
4 stars only because attack speed and charge are not intuitive nor rendered correctly due to fps cap. You have a lot of math dev in the game which is nice but is so hidden that makes my head hurt. Tome buying is also a big minus. The three skill initial build should be unique from tomes unavailable to purchase to justify certain builds. Also when enchanting attacks with magic dmg I have no idea if attack skills also stack or they fully convert to magic skills. If the later I would not want to invest in those before i get some points in magic tree. Ghosts are an interesting choice, I love to best my former self if I can. They are the single thing I await when playing a game. Spiders should have some stats that are definitely there to make you think in advance on protecting from the next specialized spiders. This would be a nice way to try a learning curve. Basically I would not invest in bleed resist until level whatever when I would encounter the first specialized spider in bleed.
Rebirth number should be fractional when it actually is. Bellow 10 minutes 'harsh' punishment should be more visible. I discovered this the hard way :)
Are you sure that Dash + Speed of light works correctly? I counted about 100 moves and had Dash at about 10% (10 times in 100 moves) when that should be 20% from Dash + 20% from Speed of light. Heck worst case scenario the Speed of light applies to Dash percent making it 24% but even that seems not to be the case
Excellent game you have there. Kept me on my seat several hours and i really want to try it again with different config. Couple suggestions: maybe make the starting trait something rather unique rather than a skill I can learn anyway. Also a New Game with some "prestige" skill tree might push this game into something wonderful.
Since the game is minimalistic I would suggest challenge modes such as: limited bullets, hardcore mode, survival. Also you have to buy smth with those souls :).. P.S. Shotgun is way to OP and feels like a rifle.. should have range reduced to view range. SMG needs unstable bullet path. If you upgrade dmg. a change in bullet oclor would be nice
I love the game. I've only prestiged once, but I feel that Hunters are obsolete. Maybe they are useful in some worlds. I would like to see more worlds, harder to unlock and maybe not get the chance to roll the dice that much until I find a suitable world. Anyway you have no idea the first time how the world would feel based on description.
I like this game a lot. However please increase the rewards from exploration. Mushrooms alone and chests that have almost nothing in them do not encourage me to rebirth over and over again. Exploration is dull if you get no rewards from it (aside from the magic defense)
man, loot from chests and barns should really be improved. I hardly flinch an eye when i see a chest as they have the same if not less loot quality than monsters.. :(
My 2 cents: population needs to be 10 times as many at 0.1 of the power to allow for better tweaking. Setbacks should be made more clear with percentages or what they affect (running out of money etc., negative happiness). A tech tree would fit nicely. I like this kind of games and a lot of us do so it is a good start.
Gave it a 1 just because, after so many idle games, it seems like you learned nothing from the do's and dont's - good concept - poor balancing, even worse implementation. Games put here just before testing in beta beta stage.. Sorry dude - quality is the key word here that you are missing
I think a warning should be given when learning the "Inventory System" that rebirth system will be again active - this will allow players to decide as they please when to learn the skill. Too soon and you get little advantage over having to rebirth again (I missed it completely and falsely reported as bug)
Important buttons and info should be on the top. Needs a "condensed" view with less details that fully fits on the window - collapse won't do as you need basic info. After a planet was conquered / explored doesn't need to still be on the list. You may have a schematic of "known" universe of some sort or just mention it in achievements.
I rate it 5/5 as I like the concept and kept me pinned to the chair. Can't wait for the updates!
