As I swap the elevators, one will get stuck on a floor as if it were moving and will not receive or deal damage from/to monsters. It also makes it so my little fellow is unable to deal damage himself.

So on "tier" 20, some thing spawned on top of me with no warning, killing me in an instant. That's good design.
