There's something wrong with the Ranger's four-star upgrade. The price doesn't leap up between 99 and 100, and the Ranger doesn't get appreciably stronger from the upgrade.
fuggin' crazy goats! Nice game, beautiful presentation. I think the atmosphere punches above its weight, maybe it the crazy way the goats move, or the slowwww attack, the doubling, tripling, quadrupling even of them melding together, but this is a 'watch your back, thousand yard stare' horrofest, and I wonder if hillbillies would serve better than goats in the situation, but still, dayummmm. I got killed with 8 goats left, so idk if there's an upgrade system, but I think not? An upgrade to radar, or at least a ping mechanism would cut down on time spent romping thru the woods, tho having said that, not knowing where the beasties are really adds something.
Trapped that bear against the edge of the screen! What a beating! Love playing a guy who has fists like hams, punching dogs and zombies and thugs and everything that moves! One of the few beat-em-ups that I've actually got to the end of, that was great :)
If buffed skills are going to reset between void levels, then we should get at least half the cost of them back. Losing that cash over and over is making the 'yess, whupped you!' part of the game unnecessarily long winded.
Micromanagement isn't my thing, but this really drew me in. I wanted to whup them so badly! And with a little shimmying around of troops, I did :) very satisfying. I think the game is great as is, tho future versions might be like Epic War in that it could be longer, and player could have a go with both sets of armies. That would be great, this totally works as a standalone, focus, beat within a few hours, it really ticks a lot of boxes, it's great!
It's like the pirate ship game where you shoot everything, except the helicopter stays a certain distance form the mouse pointer, more or less, which is kinda weird. I ran out of bullets I think. Idk.
Every sound effect in this game irritates me. It's so irritating, it's self consciously irritating - it's deliberate, right? totally picked the crappest sfx you could find. It's genuinely driving me mad. I almost don't care about the game at all, I just want to hear how shit that all was one more time....
Brilliant, I totally enjoyed that :) I found the red team the hardest to work with. It's very satisfying in the later levels, when the boot is on the other foot. Ohhhh! Keep sending one garrison of archers so that my building is never quite operable, and my soldiers inside getting no R&R? Let's see how you like it! lol! Great stuff. Yess, revenge was sweet. Loved the ice team. This feels fresh to me, this game. You know, elements remeniscent of things here and there. I felt I had to complete in one sitting, which is a great sign for a game. And as well, left wanting more - I can imagine this with a huuuuge campaign map, you know, like Gemcraft. That would be awesome.
