This is awful i'm sorry to say, today's daily run, used all chips and consumables I had on the first two fights and died in like three hits. There was nothing else I could have done, I survived for as long as I could using all resources available. Saying it doesn't rely on luck is delusional. This was a game I played daily and found fun. Now this update has taken any of the fun away. I'll keep checking back to see if you update or change it as it was a good game, but for now, I wont be playing sorry. Good Luck.
The Daily Run is currently tuned to a range of extremely challenging to extremely easy, but the standard runs are the main game - those should rarely be completely impossible.
The last update has increased the difficulty too much, you are now relying on luck rather than any kind of skill or judgement. I could regularly get to world 4 on medium, I'm now lucky if i get out of world 1.
The game does not rely very much on luck, the strategies just changed a bit and you might have to get used to it. We're still able to fairly consistently win on Hard without reloading on *most* heroes (not wizard). Consumables are important, and gems are a lot more important now. I want to see how everyone does after a week or so before judging, we can always decrease the difficulty or put an easier mode back in.
They key is a good QB with a couple of good WR then fill as much up of the rest of the team as possible. Been playing this on my phone and won 10 retro bowls with the Falcons doing this.
