A very simple mechanic with very surprising results. I think the challenge is very appropriate to what motivates people to keep playing. It's hard overall, and it forces us the player to use progressively quicker reasoning to get into the zone where no more reasoning is necessary. The FOV is perfect for creating lots of anxiety only clear reasoning overcomes. People already really good at playing games in the zone at the height of their abilities will find this boring, but it's not really the professionals who play games for entertainment. Overall the game is a nice flash diversion. Add in two to three more tunes to the variety, and it will be great. Perhaps music tuned to whether the player is close (less than a sixth of the total wingspan, for instance) to losing or winning, or an option to cycle through the music.
