Since joining Kongregate on Jun. 22, 2007 I have completed every card challenge offered. I look foward to them every week. While there have been a few that I haven't enjoyed, I have always soldered on until I complete the challenge and get the card, EVERY week since I've joined. This will be the first card challenge that I will not accomplish, not because I haven't been able to get it yet, but out of protest for the selection of this game. This is the first time I've wondered if Greg gets paid by developers to feature their game. If I wanted to play a game of randomness I would sit in a corner and flip a coin over and over. That would at least be more fun than this piece of random Flash code thrown together. Way to go 2DArray, you have been the only developer to make a game bad enough to end my streak.
I'm on the slowest laptop Core 2 Duo and it is absolutely lag free for me. I am enjoying it so far. Was a huge starcraft junkie back in the day. This is making me nostalgic. I may download it, does anyone still play it online?
I hate to feed a troll but I must point this out: KingKyd, 38 seconds on Buto is baby stuff. I could get that with my eyes closed. Actually, looking at your age and your posts you are a baby so I guess 38 is pretty good for you.
Anyways, my real comment is a suggestion to Jiggmin. I would love it if you would make the music and sound fx independently mutable. I really like to listen to my own music but I love the sound effects in the game, especially the teleport "pop" I LOVE that sound.
Let me first say that this is one of my favorite games on Kong. I come back to this game more than any. The thing that bothers me the most about this game is waiting on other players after finishing, and not being able to communicate with fellow racers. (The lobby chat is unusable due to spam) I would like to request that we be able to chat after finishing a race, that way we could combine to race again, give congratulations, etc. and it would also give us something to do after finishing instead of waiting for longer than you raced. (Which on Buto is always the case for me, I finish in 40 secs, wait around for 1:30) Implement it the same way it is in the lobby, the bar on the left side. Thank you for your attention, again, excellent game!!
Jaegerschlager: Works fine on firefox for me, and yes it is pretty fun. Try updating yoru flash player.
Lamron: I don't see how 11 has anything to do with luck. 15 on the other hand is complete luck.
Well, I've played twice now without scoring a point, in large part to my player at some point in both those games stopped accepting my controls and just started swinging repeatedly. There was no way out of this, she served on her own and then just kept swinging over and over. It was impossible to move once this happened. Anyone else have this problem? 1/5
Ummm...everytime you destroy an enemy YOUR health goes down. So 6 or 7 kills into the game you die. This game as of now is unplayable. If I could give 0 stars as a rating I would.
I'll change my rating from a 1 to a 3. If your set on staying with the mouse controls I would suggest only letting the mouse cursor leave the flash box when the game is paused. Just put in a warning that says that's what you have to do. Still lose my cursor too much trying to move around fast. (Which is a requirement on the later levels.)
The control are atrocious. I think I opened my start menu twice, switched applications, and highlighted the text underneath while playing for 3 minutes. The black cursor is intolerable, pretty much invisible. I don't understand how whoever designed this couldn't pick up on these things. There is no shortage of Flash game beta testers. I love the concept and the presentation is excellent but the control problems ruin the game. I agree with Hexedian, go to a simple keyboard scheme, that makes FAR more sense.
I really enjoyed this game. I look forward to a sequel. Maybe tweak the physics just a little towards reality to add some challenge, and more than one bonus. I gave it a 5!
Love the game, except for the hackers of course. I just quit as soon as I see one. One BIG request for future versions is being able to mute the music and sound fx separately. I love the fx, hate the music.
