Never loved this series, but clearly a lot of people do. Pretty standard TDF with nice presentation and a unique mechanic. It seems fine, I'm just not that into the gem crafting and TDF are definitely more of a time killer than "fun." Also, I realize it is probably near impossible to make money as a flash dev releasing free games, but do we really need the "more games" button RIGHT NEXT to the "back to map" button? They also look exactly the same and the "more games" button is 1st (Latin-derived languages left-to-right reading), so it is even more likely someone will accidentally click it. Clearly trying to trick people into clicking the wrong button. Pretty sketchy even for a free game.
3 star game. +1 for letting me skip those intro logos EVERY OTHER GAME forces me to watch. -1 for not saving collected stars when you die. -1 for those flame traps. I really dislike that mechanic in games. All they do is waste your time because they are so easy to get past. So, 2 stars all told. I won't subtract, but please take the links out of your levels, especially when you have hidden collectibles hidden behind similar-looking objects.
Take a note from Super Meat Boy, Trials, even Flappy Bird, you need a quick restart in games where instant death is possible. The music shouldn't restart either.
There should be a cash penalty for getting seen and hit. Like, you have to pay off some cops if seen and pay for medical bills if you take any damage.
Really fun game! Maybe let the player review the list before starting if you plan on expanding on this idea. As it stands now it is actually kind of fun to have little idea what I am looking for, even though I can just mouse over potential objects and see if it says "take".
I just wanted to find love in my flower watering. I went days without eating. What am I repaid with? Maybe it is what I truly wanted. To help my flowers grow.
The sense of speed that this game instills is amazing. Although it feels lacking and now I want to build a rig to play flight sims. WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?!
