RE: play screen cutoff bug — this is caused by the player's browser being zoomed-in. (To fix on Firefox, just press [CTRL]+0 before you hit the PLAY ► button.)
It would be great if there were a button on the inventory screen (or a checkbox) allowing the player to mass (auto if it's a checkbox, obviously) 'sell' all items below a certain level. This would be easiest if your items have a hidden level attribute, but if not it wouldn't be too difficult to make a lookup table assigning this mass-sell threshold level to certain damage, armor, etc. stats for each player level.
One of the more enjoyable games I've played on here.
A few suggestions (for the sequel?):
* Let me move around with the keyboard, please!
* Item drops — less frequent, better items please. (Less clicks!)
* 'Prestige class'-like choice for each class — although every-level Perks a la Fallout are outside of the scope of Hack Slash Crawl, it would be cool if there were one such choice in the game. (E.g., the original Final Fantasy, where you evolved each class into one of two choices ('Prestige classes' in PnP parlance.)
* Combat — if it could be just a bit more tactical (e.g., rock-paper-scissors) it wouldn't get tedious, as the game currently tends to do after several levels. (IMO.)
* Balance — I haven't taken the time to tabulate discrepancies, but they're in there (in all games). I have no doubt you could lasso 50-100 attentive players to hammer on the different builds etc. in your next title, before you release it.
