you don't actually need to DEAL 500 damage in a battle. equip a weapon that does more than 500, and you get the badge right away. also dont look at the pure damage stats, some weapons have hidden stats you can see by putting your cursor over them in the heros page

Are future updates compatiable with save files from previous versions? If so, when is the next big update that'd require a new World to access all the new features?

Other than tmp, updates have always been compatible with previous saves. They sometimes have to modify your world on import, and often there can be small differences between imported saves and new saves (because you got items or completed quests that are different now), but you never lose access to new features or major differences (and I don't forsee that happening for future updates either, but you may want to start a new game anyways to experience the changes to the beginning).

For those of you that have accidentally named your character something you didn't want, later on in the game you will get the chance to rename yourself anytime absolutely free.
I feel that the ''defense'' bosses are more difficult to kill than the actual bosses.

Last boss is unbelievably difficult to kill (Dargon). Does anyone have any tips to kill it?

Damn, there should be a better way of getting Ruby Shards, because I have a quest to make a Ruby Globe but I only have 4 Shards so far :/. 5/5 though
