What an inspirationless reskin. At least it is not a different studio doing it, but still a little more effort to make this game it's own thing would have been nice.
I generally like the mix of card game into this idle genre, the idea is refreshing.
But there are some mayor issues that really dampen the enjoyment of the game. Raiding the same huts and farms over and over again for example. It is not that it is difficult to do so, but it is tiedious to have to sit through 70+ fights mid game, before you get to the stages where your monsters could actually be hurt by the villagers at all. It is just time consuming and since early stages don't even offer any rewards, it feels like wasted time. So why do I have to watch my lvl. 10 to 15 - 10 star - monsters beat up villigers lvl 1 again? This for sure should be skippable, if your monsters could just overwhelm a place.
Autosave is whiped, only my manuel save is left. Tried to refresh page multiple times without succuess. Didn't delete cookies or cache in the meantime.
The Auto-Rebirth-Feature is not explained properly. The text should read: "Auto-Rebirth - All skill changes are in effect imediately." People get surprised, when rebirth function changes and get discouraged.
The shards-tree is confusing. Although I bought multiple upgrades, I can't see, how many shards I collected, if any at all. How does shards work? There are multiple upgrades, that read "gain more %" or "chance to gain more %", but of what base value. Why are there different upgrades (shards boost, shards treasure chance) that seem to do the same thing? And again, where does it show, where shards are collected? Only thing that seemed new after getting my first shard-upgrade was each moster shows monster power" and I am not sure, if that would have to do anything with shards at all.
Currently there is next to none incentive to start over, since kings favour itself doesn't bring anything and the improvements after the first one only halves the quest timers one by one.
Why should I bother to halve the quest timer in the next playthrough for a hero, whose quests I already have completed in this playthrough?
I don't feel stronger, when I start over, I miss the feeling of a reward.
Played this game a couple of days, I see this game has a grave error with longtime motivation.
But first my appreciaction for the graphics. They are really nice and I love the steampunk theme that is going on, quite fresh in idle game department.
The paragon system however is badly flawed. There is no incentive to restart at all. The way an idle game should work is you let the player hit a threshold he could not pass, with a reset he gets stronger and is able to pass it. But with rewards for paragon being neglegtable and the threshold not being influenced by a reset, you only harm yourself if your reset. There is no reason for 2 kinds of reward (gears and %dps) and you don't explain when to get what.
Also: Getting locked out of the game for being idle defies the purpose of an idle game
Refreshing my game and therefore updating to the newest version shortened my upgrade time for buff lvl 16 from 52hrs to 13hrs. On the other hand Bonnibel now requires lvl 30 tenderness to complete crush stage and didn't require any skill at all before. So the "Sad Panda Studios" give and the "Sad Panda Studios" take.
I like the mashup between Dating Sim and Idle game and I think, this game has potential to stand out in this genre with some more work. I'd like if you could make use of the stats of the girls at some point in the game, as you usually have in dating sims.
Oh weird I don't think we touched Bonnibel in the last update o.O must be a ghost in the machine.... I appreciate your patience while we fiddle and fool with the pacing and numbers; it's not an easy thing we can just crank out and get perfect right away (that would be nice though). Little by little we'll be integrating people's feedback into the game updates and improving how it plays, etc. I totally want to get the stats boosts working for girls soon, because like you said that's a big part of datsims. Thanks so much for playing it :D
I totally agree with DoruTheDragon: The greatest disappointment is when you reset and get your bunch of minerals (with the problem, that you don't get to know the cause of the amount of minerals you get. Is the amount a fix rate or does it increase with currency spent on the current run?).
Then you first use your minerals to buy chests and all you get is currency. Resetting should enable you to get further in content, not only speed up the start.
Is the loss of stats unfair? You don't loose anything. Crit and block are %values in comparison with the might of your opponent. Since your opponent gets stronger, you need more and more points to keep your %-tage. A number representation with a calculated %tage would have been better so you don't feel like loosing stats, while progressing.
Is it an idle game? Your aim is to idle until you are able to beat the current level. Since you get gold/min there is no reason to fight weaker opponents over and over again like in clicker games. You just wait until you get money.
The increase of opponents block and crit to 25% after lvl 50 and to 35% for each lvl 55 and 60 feels cheaty though, but with some patience you get through.
But the automatic deacitvation of autocombat, just because you lost a live, is bad. There is only one situation I would consider not to autocombat: When I am on my last life.
As far as I can see it, I like the game and don't see, why it has such bad comments. It has flaws, but it takes a different view on idle games I like.
Is the game too hard? - Well, I made my first world reset after about 3hrs). In Comparison to most xxx-Clicker games, where it takes about 2 days to reset, it was not hard at all. But it really misses a proper desription about when one can and can not reset. YOU CAN NOT RESET ON LVL 60, but on 61!!!)
The game has great graphics and the voice acting adds to the atmosphere. Playing your video sequences on youtube vids is destroying it again, though.
The game is way to easy. No tactics seem to be required to beat the levels. Just stack one kind of turrets on one point, doesn t matter, what kind of turrets, doesn t matter, if you ever bother to upgrade, and you'll win. If it wasn t for the magnets (and perhaps the glue tower), there are no synergies between the different kinds of towers.
It doesn t seem to matter, what kind of enemy is within the next wave, since your towers still will handle the enemy with no problem, no matter what. So more advanced game modes, like blind and swarm doesn t feel harder than normal mode.
Nice looks, but all together a pretty boring game, sorry...
Very nice game, though some riddles just drive you mad. But most depressing are those parts you just don t see one item you need to move on, like the chewing gum or the almanach. A hint system that perhaps highlights needed objects after some time would be good. Quite amazing and funny storyline, so 5/5
Although I am a fan of nerdook games this game I couldn t quite enjoy. I really like this idea, unfortunately being good in the defense part has nothing to do with the quality of your composition. You don t have to make a good composition and a harmony/melody, that sounds right, but match your notes to the ghosts position. Using pauses only harms your defense part. You do not have discrete note values (like 1/8th notes fire more often and do less damage, full notes are slow but do damage over time or area effect damage) or separate beats (e.g. waltz).
Robots can t judge a compositions quality, but could check if you follow concepts: Like some opponents could only be harmed, if your composition follows dur/moll, or if your harmonies and melody match/dismatch, ect.
Cause the share-function for songs is integrated in this game I d expected this game more to be focused on the musical part. This game has nothing to do with musical composition at all, unfortunately.
The different kind of weapons aren't balanced out. If you, for example, try to max out lasers, you destroy astoroids too slow, cause of the short range and the lack of splitting shoot. If you go on cannons, you don't need any other shooting type
Hello, can you describe exactly what did you do to not be able to purchase. For me it seems to work.
