Prinny's Tips for a good run:
-Contrary to Chaniel's post it is possible to beat the dragon without divine edge if and only if you encounter an "earlier" version of it with better weaps and armor (an elixir would tip the battle in your favour).
-Always keep track of the event bar and plan ahead. Recharge at the shire as late as possible just when it is about to go offscreen to get some few seconds extra.
-Try to get gold tickets early on if you dont need to use the gold to survive the coming events as they can boost your gold by 1000% or so.
-Upgrading your armor heals your hp to the max, use this knowledge to use elixirs more wisely. Armor does not seem to decrease dmg taken from enemies, so buying it when your hp is full at the start is quite a waste.
-Dragons only appear after day 8, so grabbing a divine edge too early will be a waste if you can not survive till day 8 and later.
Theres a glitch where if you use charge and mash the attack buttons you will start to slide as if on ice but still being able to use all your attacks and you will only stop "skating" once you charge again. Bold becomes a killing machine at this point. =)
I changed my mind, it gets easier as you proceed positively (meaning getting profits rather than losses), not for the unpatient... Maybe some $$ cheats will stop people from complaining.
Of course this game is not strategy Talinn , its luck :p .. and maybe you shouldnt attack ppl , you can just turtle and keep the 4:1 till you get 100+ troops ya know ..
