I know this is a supposed beta, but could you at least make it impossible to run off the edge of the map and get stuck there? and perhaps not terrorize innocent victims with Mickey Mouse singing Christmas songs :P Good luck with the game!
This is too short and fast! but I love the concept of it, though I gotta say that they're too easy, all you have to do is match patterns, try add some true, frustrating brain teasers, but keep them away from the "normal" levels so people don't ragequit and give you a poor rating. 4/5. keep it coming!
I've spotted a lot of people using the card affecting your moving ability, AFTER they've already moved, doubling from 0 isn't a very effective way of spending a card, but it seems they think that it would just re-fill your bar rather than doubling the points you have. how about just making it a refill instead? after all, sometimes you don't know if you're going to need it up until you've already moved anyway.
That's an idea. It would be different from how all the other cards work though... since the order should be "select a card" then "make a move". But we'll add this idea to Suggestion Mountain and have a chat about it.
@XxSlashCalibuRxX it's loading the game data onto your computer so you can play the game, just like any other game works with temporary internet files. it isn't downloading anything weird, no worries. well, except for if you consider the game weird, then yes. And, after a game update, clearing the cache is usually a good idea, it gives the game to re-download the data, so it doesn't get confused about old files no longer being needed.
here's one for the mountain: How about letting the person who has been the longest in the room, be the person who's going to be the next master, or let the master pick a chain of command, in case one leaves the room, my friends and I are a little tired of our well functioning rooms being hijacked and half of us booted to increase said hijacker's win chances.
hehe, the first thing I did was running around like a retard, not finding the knife at all for about 2 minutes, then I ran around confused the moment I got out, and died within 40 seconds, of course, knowing me, my first reaction to that was "LET'S DO THAT AGAIN! WOO!" - though, I seem to be getting some lag, movement stutters a bit when I look around, it's not too bad though.
here's some stuff I'd appreciate: a COD mailing option, making direct trading possible. and an option to change the targeting colours into something I can see, that red line blends in with the background for me on some maps - bad eyes, BAD!
Wait... you want to be able to mail Call of Duty to each other? Hmmm... not sure we horses understand. Carrot of Day? Catch Old Dolphins? Cat of Death? Seriously, don't mess with Cat of Death. Another horse we know tried... and died. We'll look at targeting color (not colour, you silly Brit/Aussie/?). Sorry for the bad eyes. Keep the comments coming! :)
just a thought, why don't you guys add a fullscreen button somewhere, instead of constantly telling people over and over, might save you a headache, if not worse.
Dear Prinz von Tirol, This must be why you are a Prinz among men. With a brain that humongous, nothing short of a "von" something would suit. And this suggestion is a prime example of your greatness. For not only have you made a wise suggestion, but you've also managed to foretell the future. Magic? Witchcraft? Whatever... since it is your wish, it is our command... and you shall see it fulfilled within the day! Yay!
Before I saw the end of it, I was thinking: "this is so true, a lot of tourists see what they want to see, not what's going on behind the scenes". When I saw the end, I thought: "aw.. this was just a campaign ad.. and a slightly biased one at that.."
yikes, right after I enter the town in the beginning, my mouse starts lagging so hard I gave up playing, I had no issues at all on NG, though, wonderful game, played the whole thing, thank you.
imagine if this was made into a multiplayer game, one random person is picked to be the road, the rest races.
even features such as upgrades could be added, better wheels, awesome cosmetics (tinted windows, paint, neon lights etc) or for the road, banners along the side, pot holes, maybe even other stuff to drop on the road like lose tires or oil for different effects as you progress.
maybe even special stuff for completed achievements, such as "survive so and so many races" or "destroy everyone so and so many times" to show off that you're a maniac!
- Ohhh the mayhem!! that's something I'd get addicted to for sure.
*freelancer voice* "Docking" *woosh ... wooosh.. wooosh.. woosh.. wooosh* "Trade lane, distrupted* ... "where am I? it looks like I went to the Outlands in Zangarmarsh! now I'll be late for dinner.."
Oof, I was set up to getting myself completely upgraded and try get those final 1700 metres I needed to be first. then I decided to clean up my cookies.. shouldn't have done that, all upgrades are gone :-(
I started out giving this game a 5/5 because of a huge impression and I had a lot of hopes up, as I got deeper and deeper into it, that joy of playing became more of an annoyance over the mix of time/money/restriction/forcing in the game, and over time it just slowly dropped to a 1/5 and I stopped playing entirely today. take out everything everyone's already said, or at least make it reasonable, you have yourself a great game (if you update it with more features) I can imagine this is something people will play and pay for years - the way it's set up, is not going to last.
I am probably just too retarded not to read carefully before I click something (which a lot of FB games prey on I've noticed) but I've lost about 50 shiny on accidentally clicking on things. I know of people who has spent real money and wasted it on the exact same thing I did. I'd really enjoy it if it was to be made easier to avoid this, but it probably won't, it appears it was made that way on purpose. great game besides that though.
to the people asking about the workers randomely leaving the building/upgrade they're working on: just refresh the page without doing anything. when it is done loading, they'll be back on the task you wanted them to do. so don't cancel and redo the upgrade, time is sometimes costly ;)
This has some unforgivable flaws, it kills your browser for one, basic gear such as missiles cost real money, and I end up marking all text or clicking links outside the game because it doesn't scroll lock, I also have found no menu button/key anywhere so I have to refresh every time?
other than that, this game seems to be one of the most promising dogfight games I've seen so far, this is a game I want to keep my eyes on, but I really hope it won't be one of those "if you don't pay, you're nothing but meat for the payers" types of game, we have enough of those.
That's an idea. It would be different from how all the other cards work though... since the order should be "select a card" then "make a move". But we'll add this idea to Suggestion Mountain and have a chat about it.
