Wow. I just lost a bunch of progress back to some earlier save point. Blah.

Idle Gladiators

I can only give this a 2 for now, as there just isn't much to it. However, it seems like it would make a nice component of a larger game. The buttons should be redesigned somewhat to have a more consistent and logical appearance, but all the mechanics seem fine. IMO the upgrades are somewhat OP, except that the last gladiator takes forever to afford. So I spent some time at the end just waiting for the money to accumulate for him, having already bought everything else.

OK this is in need of major revisions. Firstly, the XP is not as interesting as the SP. I was constantly watching my SP count, and not interested in my XP count. Leveling up only gets access to stuff, and I got all of that without ever paying attention to XP or levels. So why show me the XP I'm getting from each kill when I don't care about that and not show me the SP I'm getting which I do care about? Secondly, there are way more weapons and armors at the high end than are needed. I kill everything in 1 hit and there are still numerous more sets to purchase? Why? Thirdly, the boss killing system is really annoying. Having to click two different places on the screen every time I want to attack a boss is tedious. Let me grind the (@#$&@#s, especially since they never drop anything! I've only managed to get the first 2 drops to drop, and I've killed the last boss scores of times.

Why does increasing my health only appear to increase my *maximum* health? And is there a way to regenerate the missing health points? And is there a way to see the current HPs, displayed as a number instead of a featureless progress bar? And are the upgrades I buy cumulative, or does each one purchased replace the previous one? And... this game needs some more development, at least in the presentation of information to the user.

How about an improved engine we can eventually replace the original engines with? Maybe other "second tier" items too. Also, again, the IG texts don't always explain fully. Reading the descriptions of many items I can add to the ship, I would like to have plainly listed what attribute(s) the item alters and the amount by which it's (or they're) altered.

Me: "Shoot that guy in front of you!" Laser: "No. I must shoot the other guy at the other side of the field. He is 1 pixel closer." *starts slowly turning* Other turret: *kills that enemy just as laser almost reaches it* Laser: "OK, now I will shoot that guy you wanted me to shoot before." *starts slowly turning back* Me: *facepalm*

I've twice now been pulled back many levels, to level 36. The first time I was actually level 55+, and the second time not far behind that. Ugh. I definitely tried to save my game numerous times after the first time it pulled me back, so... I'm done here. :-( Not a bad game other than that, although could use some tweaking.

Idle Gems

The progress momentum seems to peter out around level 70ish. It is very tough to get beyond that, at least for me. I can barely get any more idle miners, and the upgrades cost a lot of time's worth of gem mining now.

Epic Boss Fighter 2

In the awards screen mouseovers, "less then" needs changed to "less than". Also I am getting the bug on the brain-in-a-ball boss where I can't move. It seems that I get frozen at my location when the transition happens from the previous boss (the one where the "allies" holler at me to pick them up) to that one.

I really can't believe how hard this is on "easy". Even with several upgrades, I'm having trouble stopping them all on just the second area, after already beating it once. I'm even trying people's suggestions and still leaking, even in the first handful of rounds. SMH

These upgrades seem like a joke. They are the tiniest increments I've ever encountered. Granted they also are very cheap, but still... it seems insulting to make me pay anything for an upgrade so small it will never be noticed.

Idle Gems

In case you get this far: the idle miners to-be-added stat display is a bit buggy at high levels. Specifically, when you get to whatever the gem is after diamonds, it only updates on whole-number tally changes. So when you have 1.01 of those gems, it will display a number of idle miners to be added upon soft reset, and that number won't change until you get to 2.00 of those gems. That takes a while, and during that time, you might think there's something wrong. There's really not; it's just not programmed well on the display side. Don't worry, though; keep mining. :-)

If anybody knows how to find the secret dungeon, send me a Kong PM, would ya? Looks like there's several achievements in there, but I don't see any secret dungeon, and I've beaten the game on hard mode.

Level 10 is my bane. Failed 4 or 5 times. Giving up. :'-( As for suggestions, I don't like having to click the boxes on the left so much. If I'm in, say, "4 mode", I want to keep my concentration on the game grid, not have to go over to the left grid to change between marking 4s and marking possible 4s. Doing that takes my focus off of my thought process within the game grid. I am not sure what to suggest since flash player probably won't let you use right-clicking, but some other way would be good. Perhaps double-click or holding the button down could trigger the possibles-marking mode?

The instructions are a little thin; we could use mouseover hints on some things. Such as, what does the mission multiplier do? I think it makes the enemy ships bigger, but is that all? And that's... bad, isn't it?

Also, we need a way to buy/sell larger amounts in the exchange market.

Cute game. The farming situation in my kingdom is getting out of hand. I've been playing a few days and putting most of my development points into farming. I got up to 278M food with 280 farmers, boosted by 202 ruler points and >100 research points. The problem is that the in-game mechanism for converting surplus "growth" % into population seems to max out at 1000 at a time, but the mechanism does not function unless the game is in focus. I left it on all night long, hoping to drain off some of the excess "Growth" %, but it didn't, I guess due to an inactivity timer. So I now have 142 million "Growth" % and the only way to get that converted is fire all my farmers! LOL. Please make a better conversion function.

Time to pull the plug on this one? Nobody is going to start playing a game that depends on other people playing, when nobody else is playing...

The first level is hard until you figure out what to do. Then it's all easy. :-) As posted by others, just use your 3 starter guns to get the first boss killed, then you get his flamethrower and it's party time.

Not too bad, but I finished the game with just 2 deaths and never once used any energy. :-)
