Why are it more recruit space than recruits we can buy? Its really great game!

I am really stuck right now. Can´t kill someone and my maps chamber are impossible to do and have only 1 to choose. In world i cant do something and I am at world 39. All upgrades are too expensive to upgrade now for me so i can really do nothing right now. Wish i can go back one world or stage so i can make me more stronger. Hope its next update to solve this problem i have.

Cant play over 5 minutes now after the update :(
