Just cause I’m lazy and just cause I have kept you guys out of the loop. So updates for this month:

1. No, I still haven’t found a new job. So summer is looking pretty boring at the moment. Who knows, I might just randomly decide to go traveling for the full 3 months and quit my current job. Not too sure it’s a wise move given the uncertain economic condition.

2. Law studies are going pretty mediocre. I’ve been so stressed out about job applications and interviews, I doubt my results this semester would be great. I was aiming 2 D and 1 C. I think I have to lower my expectations. Can’t seem to concentrate and I take too many naps!

3. God stuff is going good. Been learning heaps after camp and there are lots of weaknesses and bad habits I have to address. Also felt like I’ve got it all wrong in the first place. That’s why I’m always depressed.

4. Finals are coming up in a month’s time. Crunch time! Yet at the same time I wanna apply for more jobs (which I don’t have time to afford at the moment). Decisions! Decisions!

5. There were a few bad news lately. Breaks my heart and although I think it is unfair, I know that all I can do is really pray for them.

6. Starting to feel a tad bit old. Turning 22 in a few weeks! Although till then, there won’t be much fun. The aging thing occurred to me when our bunk room went to sleep at 12am during camp and could not even find the energy to stay up any longer, many stayed up till 4am! AND the fact that I don’t remember people’s names.

7. The past week was a bit of a whirlwind. I felt like I didn’t have the time to stop and breathe. Just go go go! I got a job rejection on the Friday (2 Fridays ago), felt awful and even contemplated not going to camp. Went anyway because I knew I had to get away from things and just refocus. Camp was great except for the fact that they REFUSED to give seconds. I was starving and this was the only time I did not bring snacks! My Stevie Wonder group was awesome as we laughed about just anything and everything, had lots of internal jokes that left the other campers very confused.

I came back on the Sunday. After that I had full time unpaid work experience at Avant for the whole week Monday to Friday. On Thursday night I actually had to work at Review, I calculated 13 working hours that day. Saturday night was Rubies where I ran around like a mad chicken organising food, drinks and dessert. Monday was a public holiday which I worked by myself (yay for double pay but no yay for the amount of work I had to do). My manager didn’t know we were not trading normal hours. So I turned up to work an hour early only to find out we were opening at 10am and not 9am.

And so yesterday and today I just bummed out like a lazy pig. I am suppose to start prepping for finals.
