At first I sighed at the idea of another platformer based around using previous corpses to navigate to the end of the level, but I was extremely pleasantly surprised to find you have crafted a well-though entertaining game, complete with even one of the most rewarding secret endings I've seen. Great job!
5/5 people definitely play this!
Really REALLY great concept here, but easily the biggest flaw there is is castle placement. It's random, so people can get unfair placement. But there's an incredibly easy solution to this: open every match with a trivia question, and top answer gets first pick on where to place their castle, second best gets second pick, and last place gets last pick.
This would open up all sorts of new strategies, such as intentionally coming in last to place your castle according to the other castles. Just a suggestion.
Really wish the awards actually did something. Maybe unlocked a piece of art. Anything really. If you're going to have collectibles that are more difficult to collect, please make it worth while.
Definitely a really neat puzzle concept. But the lack of any sound or music at all is killing it. Put some sound effects in or at the absolute very least put some simple music in and it will be worlds better.
Why are there invisible walls in a game where all you'd need to do is put the word "WALL" or "BARRIER" to prevent the player from continuing in that direction?
Pretty cool game, but I have two issues.
1) You gave us some pretty cool power-ups in the levels, but they were only in like 5 of the 20-something levels. The lightning power-up was only in a single level. They're cool power-ups and you spent time on making them work; show them off a little more.
2) In a game controlled purely by mouse, having the pause menu only accessible by moving the mouse and clicking an icon in the top right corner is not optimal. Maybe just make Space or Enter or P (or any key really) pause the game without having to move the character as well.
Really cool game though man, keep up the work!
Fantastic game! The only thing throwing me off is the description for the final level of the skill meter: "The majestic meter is not for sale yet."
I'm unsure if it's just a joke or if there's some secret way to unlock it. I literally did everything; beat all the story and endless quests, upgraded everything to max, and got all the in game achievements. Does anyone know the answer to my quandary?
Superb game! I've been looking around for a fresh new 3D platformer without terrible camera, and I do believe I've just found it! Needless to say, I'll be keeping a close eye on this, and will most likely pre-order it when the time comes! Keep up the great work!
