My names Pyro. I am a Pyromancer, which is a wizard/witch who specializes in fire-based magic. I fought in the second Elemental War of 2001 against the Cryomancers (Ice Mages) and the Terramancers. (Earth Mages) It was just us, the Pyromancers, against the two powerful nations. We had tries to form an alliance with the Aeromancers (Air Mages), but they refused because they didnt want a part in the war. For over two weeks, we fought back attacks from the Cryo and Terramancers. But after three weeks of fighting them back, they made a big stand. Both nations marched toward our base, but the two nations were not alone. They brought along another nation. Our most feared nation, the Hydromancers (Water Mages). We knew this would be our downfall, but we refused to surrender. We decided to go down with a fight. We held the back, but we were no match for the Hydromancers. They’re water burned out our fire too quickly. They had the whole empire surrounded.It was me and 25 others fighting them off. The rest gave in and surrendered. One by one, they gave up. In just 5 minutes, it was just me. I was surrounded. I knew if I kept fighting it would result in my death. I gave in… They took us to a prison in which the put us into groups of 20. They tortured my men in front of me. One by one, I watched my team die. We came in January 21st, 2001. But by February 3rd, it was just me. I was next. But i had a plan. A plan to escape… When they took me in for interrogation and torturing, I melted my handcuffs off and killed my escort. I ran down the narrow hall, killing anyone who ca into my path. Once I got outside, a helicopter was about a foot off the ground, transporting a cargo. I jumped, just barely grabbing the landing skits. I hauled myself up onto the flyers seat, grabbed him and threw him off the side of the helicopter. I hopped on and flew the helicopter to the empire. I had escaped the Hydromancers… I was greeted with joy and pleasure with my return. I was renamed king of the Fire Empire, and I was nicknamed Pyro, which means “fire” in Greek. This is my legacy. This is my story. I was the first ever Pyromancer to escape from a prison of Hydromancers. To this day, I still cant believe I escaped. Some say it was luck. Some say I had the brains and skill to do it. Some say the Flame Gods helped and blessed me with the power. But I believe it was all instinctive. I did it all on instincts. Almost none of it was planned. Now im glad the Aeromancers didn’t take our offer on an alliance. If they had agreed, I wouldn’t be King Pyro to this date. Thank you for reading.
