There seems to be a recurring bug when a save occurs. My game freezes for a second or two, and if it happens while smithing it can lead to processing 10-20 more ore into bars, or even turning 1 ore into 10-20 bars if no more ore was available. Probably happens when smithing items and other activities too though I haven't noticed.

The lack of a "hard reset" option really sucks as if you don't wait for the exact right machines you can end up upping the cost of new ones way past the reasonable time. Or completely eff yourself if you destroy all a ways into the game. If you're just starting out, wait for the X==>Y*2 machines and get no others. except maybe *3s or *4s if yuou want to speed things up. Lots of junk machines will appear, and sometimes the one you want appears for a split second before vanishing again. That's really frustrating as well.

I did an all wizard build when I was around the beginning of the 3rd row of resources when I noticed some giant bumps in production. Turns out when ascension pops, it would explode my goblin production (talking a dozen orders of magnitude). I got a few more talents with this, and eventually got the goblin/10 level talent. In this latest run I decided to put extra points in ascension (went to lvl 50), and within 2hrs real time (about 8hrs including speed time), I had over 70,000 ragnarok points, and my goblins were level 11122 or so. Their exp bugged out and it was XXX/000M, with the bar never filling. It seems repeatable as I've done several runs with an all wizard build with similar results (switch to casting the goblin fist spell when you've got at least lvl 50 double cast and 10+ ascension).

Disorienting at first as W is up on the screen rather than forwards in the way the ship is pointing, but good for a half hour of fun.

Hey, thanks for playing. Well, the controls are mouse+kb so you can fly facing backwards to be able to shoot the enemies chasing you. Not sure how W=forward would work with mouse controlling ship rotation. I'll think about it, maybe I can make a secondary control scheme. Thanks for the input.

2/2: Oh and the major problem with the cargo loading slowdown is that your shooting has no effect while loading cargo, which means if you pass over 100 dots, you might have to wait minutes before your weapons do anything. I've gotten my ship to lvl 82 now and having fun zipping around with a 26 unit ship with over 1k cargo space, though the lack of higher level elements is slowing progress considerably (I popped an aluminum asteroid today as my new record, but it bugged and kicks me back to base every time I enter, spawning a new base with my name on it. Had 4 copies of me in there at one point). The whole "Sector Alpha" seems to tease that higher level places are planned, though that might be just in case the first fills up with players.

1/2: Theres a cargo issue I've been having. Each unit can only hold one element, so you can run out of space for a new element while still having over half your units empty. I assume this is necessary to allow for individual cubes to be destroyed and only their cargo lost. Also, once you have multiple cargo cubes with different elements, it slows down your collection (i figure the game checks each cube for the element to be stored and these checks cause the large slowdown). I was running around with 13 at one point and while sitting in a field of dots it would load about one per second (which is slow when your capacity is 1000+). Now I use only 8 as a compromise between more space and slower loading, and also because only 8 are ever shown while outside your base and you can't drop the unwanted items to make room for more valuable ones.

Asteroid respawns are great now, real easy to pop one and have it respawn as another one right away (appears after you go into another zone and go back to warp).

So.... don't destroy your base. It doesn't come back till you die or reload lol. Also if we need to hunt down every little resource dot to respawn an asteroid, could we get a module to see them on radar? Maybe 1 square per level per module up to whatever the main radar is? Also a toggle for the grid lines so we can turn them on or off. Off for resource hunting (since resources mined and bars are the same colour for extra camoflage!), on for setting up grid searches. Just remembered: When you have energy assigned to a ship system, but that system is full, it should count as 0 assigned for the purposes of where energy is added. For example let's say you have 1/3rd assigned to each system. When shields and weapons are full and not being fired/damaged, you still only get 1/3rd of your produced energy put into the engines (even if you have the room in your bar). A "-" option for the bars would be nice, and maybe hotkeys as well, though so far combat beyond the first couple core levels is slow enough that this is minor.

The upgrading is quite a bit better already. The colour change for blocks that are far from your core level is good, but I would make the difference even more. Maybe a small mark on the top of blocks, or a glowing symbol, or a bold line around the perimeter when the same level as the core? . I would also suggest some sort of mapping feature where it marks what element you've mined in which asteroid once you've mined there, maybe a list somewhere that keeps track of prices once you've sold such an element. Oh and when selling a resource, it always calls it "hydrogen". I also have trouble dropping certain elements in space when nearly full (the 2 hydrogens won't go away, so I have to drop a 20 oxygen or two before the 2 hydrogen is droppable).

Thanks again! Added a lot of points to my todo list :) I was thinking about some kind of filtering system for modules. e.g. show only level 5 or show only drives, etc.

Could be promising. You need some sort of "upgrade to max" or even "upgrade all to X level" buttons though as it gets tedious fast. Or at least don't close the window after the first upgrade, let us do them all by clicking the upgrade button a couple times. The enemies are too stupid for their meneuverability and pose no threat to a ship (unless you spawn with two right on top of you and another not far facing you and fireing at your face, but even then I didn't even lose my shields).

Thanks for feedback! Upgrading should be slightly better now and will be improved further in later updates. Improving AI is next on my todo list ;)

I see a couple people can't see past homestead and are asking for a scroll bar. In the meantime, just use the up/down arrows or the mousewheel to scroll. Wheel is slow, arrows fast, which is nice to have the option of different speeds.

Did a revolution for swordsmen... and it removed all the happiness from every other building. Great. A day later I logged off for the night... and my 1000x swordsmen lost all their progress for no reason and are back to 1bp/sec. Wonderfull.

The new cow + warehouse seems useless to me, as by the time I can use a cow it's only a few seconds worth of food. And don't get me started on +100 food in the next game. A better option for warehouses would be x2 global food production per warehouse after a revolution, but ONLY the next one, rather than permanent and cumulative like the last one. So if you get 10 warehouses in one game, you'd have about a x1024 food production after you do a revolution, but if in the next one you go for the townhall for discontent then the game after you fall back to x1 as you had no warehouses.

Major Bug: There's a big jump of income for no reason when you use your 7th or 8th stable horse. At this point you start gaining 10,000 times your displayed (and realistic) income.

And warehouse x2 food in next game doesn't work. Had 2 of them, and when I did a revolution my farm produced only 1 food.
