Last mission tip: don't bother trying to hold planets. Hold the warp gates and the 4 mother ships, defend while you build to max, move everything to the warp gates and then jump to the middle.
I love this. I wish there was a bit more to it at this point - but I'm pumped for this to reach it's final form. The mechanics aren't all that bad to learn - but I can imagine they'll take rather a while to master.
For those still having issues with offline mode, you have to do a "Sell Shares and Restart" in the Angel screen. Hopefully it's not too early in the game to have a big effect...
Strange. Adventure Capitalist is taking up over a gig of RAM - and growing ... you guys would appear to have a memory leak of some sort... Sigh. More bugs.
In the later stages of the game, selling at "Expensive" with maximum Crit is far more effective (seeing as it's only half the price but between 4 and 5 times the speed).
On the stats you spend money on, the format looks like
Damage: 2.00k (240) or Block: 119 (95) 12%
The larger number on the left is the actual damage you output per hit, the number in brackets is the contribution from the stats you put money in to. These match up with the actual stats in your inventory. In the case of Block or Crit, the far right is the % chance of a block or a crit occurring.
You can upgrade an item three times from any quality before it requires Diamonds to further the upgrade (and a lot of diamonds, to boot).
Don't put any more than the required 7 points in to Combat Damage (Flat), because Combat Damage (Percent) scales much better and doesn't require any more points.
Don't discount Energy Max and Regen - using the Auto-Special (Gears to the left of the Special button) on Large and Above creatures will greatly speed looting and levelling.
Does anyone know the threshholds at which the quantity of collected eggs goes up for the wives? I just realized that she was only collecting three eggs at a time... How many points do I have to put in to get four, five, etc...
Some of these mini-games are painfully unforgiving and/or incredibly slow. When training speed, I can get around 60 points in no time, but by nature of the game, I can only get 15-24 stamina points per round, and it takes forever, and also isn't particularly fun. The reaction game just "kills" you for making a wrong move. Do people actually play these games before releasing them any more??
Has anyone been able to get their attack speed faster than 1.15? I'm starting to think that my rogue needs to start adding strength soon... is there a decent forum post/guide for this game?
If you're "grinding", you're doing it wrong. Stop trying to max out your XP and instead just beat the levels with no "bonus" settings. If it's tough, try adjusting skills instead - but I'm 2/3rds through the game and I've only put points in to the first four skills on the left.
