I thought the button said "easy" when apparently it means "hard" from level 33 onwards... Otherwise very nice implementation of the cell genre with a great simple design.
It would be awesome if you could save some armorsets, so you didn't have to reequip all the single pieces after you fought an enemy with different elemental properties. Quite the only thing missing to make this game purrfect :D
Since it is really hard to remember the runes underneath the tiles, maybe you could turn the solution button into a switch that makes the tiles see-through. In my opinion, finding out the right spot for the runes and remembering them is not the fun part about the game but finding out how to slide the tiles with the least possible moves. Otherwise pretty good game.
I tried that. Looks not well( But I understand this problem and will think how to make solution showing in the best way. As game was designed originally for iphone where you dont have a lot of space Im finding this solution button as optimal.
PS anyway, tnx for feedback!;-) Do my best to make game better if its worth it
It really doesn't help that these instructions are popping up every game, crushing my concentration just to tell me things I already know... Otherwise good as ever ;)
Hm... hitting a plane at the edge of the control zone is a very bad idea... I think it should have hit the earth's core by now, but it's still falling. Maybe it should just explode after some time like the cars.
It's a really great game, but I think the weapon upgrades are too expensive and the bosses are too cheap. They might have a lot of HP but staying in the lower middle of the screen with just a tiny bit of movement to the left and right they can't hurt you at all. A little more challenge would be much appreciated :)
You are using some nice components like the special features of the blocks or teleporting and duplicating, which has a lot of potential and there are lots of levels, which is also a good thing for a puzzle game. BUT: The difficulty doesn't seem to rise because of the par score, which is too high for almost all the levels. There are some levels, solvable with more than 15 moves under par. Most of the time you just have to move blocks without really thinking of a solution. Almost no challenge at all. You could make 3 game modes -> Easy: The game as it is. Normal: Par score = Least possible moves + X, where X depends on level difficulty. Hard: Par score = Least possible moves.
You could also limit block movement to a minimum, by blocking more paths.
If you'd make it more challenging I'd give you 5/5 and I think other people would do so too.
I really like the game concept. Maybe you should add bosses and make the short range weapons a little more attractive to use since the boomerang is far better in comparison.
Sadly the reward didn't work for me, so there was no real end.
Really love the game. Mind teasing but not impossible. The little downsides were already mentioned, but it's still definitely a 5/5. With the positive resonance I'm hoping for a second part or simply more levels :)
If you don't screw up the first levels it's pretty easy. I didn't even have to do anything after level 9, since the combination rocket launcher/blast gun/laser did everything for me. So I don't think that a gun upgrade is necessary, except you plan on implementing a higher difficulty. But like all other jmtb02 games i've played so far, this is another good game, even though it kinda lacks the original character of (for example) Achievement Unlocked or Llama Adventure. 4/5
This "guide" sucks pretty hard! Where is the guide? You could have just implemented those descriptions in the game. I expect HELP from a guide and tips how to get which achievement, for example which rider I should use for which level... Still the game was quite entertaining ;)
