I think it's ridiculous how if your men have to retreat, then the hostiles teleport to where the engagement started.
Meaning that they could be right ontop of your reinforcements which were coming in.
And then they'll retreat.
And so on, they keep jumping until they reach your territory because your men can't do anything but retreat.
I really wanted this dev to continue his work but it's been more than a couple of years; he should do a kickstarter perhaps.
Level 24... I dunno what to say..
I lost my sniper, crossbow, and fire mage.
Without them, I couldn't kill the boss and was at a standstill.
AKA you can't loose ANYONE because the boss regenerates too quickly.
I chose the random option, started with an officer(From ribbons), bazooka, frenchie, specops, and signaller. All got killed by ARTY except for specops, later i got 1 half track and 3 shermans. Specops has 100xp, 100rifle, and 90 morale, rank of lieutenant. FULL ARMOR WORKS!!
Sarge is a good choice to get, plus he smokes when there's no germans. He boosts morale as well.
Officers are useful because 1. tactical points, 2. flanking germans, 3. focus fire
If you can, use hasty defense, you're most likely to get a few spec ops, maybe a lieutenant, engi, if not, work with what you have, NEVER RETREAT.

Riflemen, put them behind trees or rocks, if you're unlucky enough to have no trees or rocks, spread them out in a thin line, make sure ONE grenade can't kill all of them. After this, get a gunner, or a few spec ops, once secured, get an engineer to build barbed wire to prevent spies, now you should be at a secured location, HOPEFULLY WITHOUT TANKS. You should have around 15 points after a few minutes, build a minefield to secure your location(make sure they aren't on your side). Add some anti-tank mines around the edges to get any of the German APC. Build a palaside for your mortars and rocket launchers if you need any, add sand bag walls to replace your trees, place trenches if your experiencing too many explosions, add a bunker if you need a place for your gunners, AND HOPE YOU MAY LAST AS LONG AS YOU CAN. This lasted me 64 waves.
If you have problem's with flak 38's or PAK 38's(the AT), then use the bazooka unit, 4 TP, but hope you get a good one, they have low morale, and a lotta'em suck at aiming.
I just can't believe how much money people use on this game, i always hear people talking about getting full arts at level 4, etc. Last time i was on was 10/10/12, and now its 9/10/13, they only added TWO guns... if you think about that, they spent an entire year to add two guns... I can't believe kongregate lets this game live in general, i mean, so many people get scammed by this, and so many people use money on this... If you want all the OP weapons and arts, you need 500$, I was a fool and used 40$, but for what? only barrett, thunderbringer, and 4 arts. And i still cant kill a single pro, and im level 58. If you wanna use 500$ on this flashgame and possibly get hacked, go for it. But this is a suggestion, don't use money on this game, play it for the badges or the fun.
I appreciate how fast hes making these games. But, its quite sad that he didnt put as MUCH effort into the german campaign, in my opinion at least. The first level is the tutorial, and if your gonna make a german speak english. make it full english. Not just "Das ist your tank". And theres NO storyline what so ever for each mission, i'd rather have a german talk in full english about the missions.
HOLLY SHIT. On mission 3 i spent 25minutes and then lost... im pissed at this game. I went up, got the repair drone, found devilduke first, went and saved the other guy, went back to devil duke, [still not avaliable] THEN i dropped off the other guy, grabbed devil duke, idiot ross comes in and "SAVES THE DAY", enemy squadron spawns RIGHT on me. Thats just pure BS.
