If you press an up/down key and a left/right key at the same time, you'll move at ~1.4x speed (square root of two), if the normal speed is 1. It's called strafe running
Also, I wish there was a wave indicator in the middle of a wave, instead of seeing it at the end of each wave ):

8)Get Tier 2 and 3 and get Fever, Fatigue, Pulmonary Edema, Hypersensitivity, Kidney Failure, and Ataxia, if you don't have them already.
9)Buy more Resistances and Transmissions to speed things up. You could get more symptoms for the fun of it xD
10)Entertain yourself by checking out which countries are left in the World screen, then exit the screen and click on one of those countries ==> watch the number of alive people fall down to zero.
11)Feel proud. You just destroyed human life on Earth and made a pandemic that wasn't just a minor scare like the H1N1, but a lethal virus that left people rotting in the streets... eliminating the most dominate species of our planet in oh.... ~40 days?

If you happen to start on Madagascar in Relaxed Mode, this is what I did to get the third badge, "Ultimate Relaxation Badge". It's somewhat similar to "Nauto98001" 's tips above, so the credits should go to Nauto d:
1)Start in Madagascar, Relaxed Mode
2)Make sure the only sympton you have is Sneezing
3)Buy the Resistances Cold, Heat, and Moisture, level one.
4)As soon as the disease leaves Madagascar and spreads to one (maybe two) other countries, get rid of sneezing to prevent spazzing of the government.
5)Wait until all countries are infected.
6)Buy all Drug Resistances.
7)Get Sneezing back, and also get Coughing and Vomiting

"Government of Madagascar closes borders" (but shipyards and the 'airports [???]' are still open). Well, I'm not sure closing the borders will do much. It's not like someone's gonna swim to Madagascar?
Customizing your own arenas, enemies, and esp. your own tanks is the plus in BTA. But, like what the other comments have mentioned, I miss the de-evolution/evolution of enemies and your own tank from BT2, and am also annoyed by how boring it sometimes gets to take down some easy, big enemies (esp. that you also don't see the enemy de-evolving also makes it boring). Though exploring in BT2 is pretty cool, the good thing about BTA is you won't get lost and have to spend 10 minutes retracing your steps to find a boss.
