@Karatemango fill everything you can, every connection to road/cable must be used, for example decrease all charcoal factories level by 1, and build 2x more, you will get lots of resources back. Here is my starting area: http://i.imgur.com/iGn09ZG.png
Volch can you add option to make complex so i can upgrade roadless builds without affecting complex buildings and conversely on map? ctrl+LMB is upgrade all buildings of the same type, but i need something like ctrl+LMB to upgrade all buildings added to this complex.
@RNorth2 My wind farm income was 90%, and i wouldnt get 12x increase focusing only on making steel, and windmills are more useful, probably because we are expanding in other way than developer has predicted, probably faster.
@RNorth2 Try to adapt, energy emitters are very useful. I sold my water powerplants and solar panels and changed their resources to fiberglass so i can make emitters, then i made lots of powerplants:1 emitter, 2 cables, 8 windmills, of course 1 battery per cluster (+1 cable per additional 2 windmills for extended farms). And i rebuilded old windfarms, now my energy/sec is 12x higher for the same price.
Good game, i was playing some time and you develop it with godspeed, but there was lots of games developing fast, and then STOP, and they are laying just like reactor incremental, since march, half made and with tons of bugs.
And i was thinking about something like transmitters but for roads, undergroung passage maybe.
good game but you need balance, because it is hellaslow with speed up (better not to think about normal speed). and you should add some challenges like "reach 100m power/tick to unlock next island or tech or to get any reward.
