While I've seen other walkthroughs for the Spartan achievement ("Hell Dining"), the only one that has worked for me is a fully upgraded flamethrower tower (Flamer Joe), fully upgraded quake tower, and near fully upgraded missile tower.
I'll admit I'm only a minute in, but was I the only one annoyed by the flute at the beginning playing something that clashed with the guitar background music?
I enjoyed the game, but I really wish there was a way to order planes to retreat or advance or, at a minimum, to hold planes in reserve to let them all go at once.
It's odd that I may fail 13 times in a row, but the time when I succeed, I do so perfectly. I've had that happen a few times now. It's worth it to keep playing for that feeling alone.
The fact that you can't multi-task makes you spend the majority of your time staring at red circles turning green. You can't even look at another screen without stopping the progress.
I feel that this is a serious design flaw
impeding what could otherwise be a damn good game.
I beat this and for the time it took, I didn't feel much satisfaction. It was a compelling game and I played through until the finish, but I felt like I was grinding at the end.
I got the scope before getting the ring sight then just bought it for the heck of it and now can't go back to the scope. You should have an option of choosing which rifle/scope you use.
Good game though. Simple, but fun.
