Runs slowly for me. Sometimes it will run faster for a brief period but then slows down. Makes the game really boring. I don't have this problem with any other game, including earlier TDs.
Finally earned brilliant on all levels. Here's the trick: put temples where the baddies enter but don't upgrade them (exception is lvl 14, see below). They will force the ninjas to cloak early, making them visible near the gems. Put a crypt or two near the gems, as few crypts as possible so they will rapidly upgrade. Build on mana pools only if they are away from the temples placed at the start. Only when the crypts are maxed upgrade other towers. On level 14, upgrade temples (placed on high ground tiles) to the max (burning) right before the final boss ninja comes on wave 50. That will harm him and slow him down. Hammer him with meteors (hold down shift key to rapidly fire meteors) after he's burned by the tower. That's the only way I was able to beat 14. On 15 I did similar, putting 3 temples at the entrance (one on each side and one on the high ground) and building crypts first on the bottom two high grounds, then when maxed out put another crypt on the high ground between them.
A boring, slow game. No excitement to it. It reminded me of the days when I owned a game store and people would send me their board and card games, hoping I would publish them. Those games were always horrible - made me wonder if people actually played the games they created.
This game is not balanced. If you want the single player game to go by more quickly (so you can earn an entry into the drawing) tweak the deck so there are no big building cards. Get rid of Pixies, Fort, Babylon, Fence. Up the number of big attack cards like Dragon and Banshee. And really increase the number of School, Recruit, and Sorcerer cards.
I don't care that it's adware - Kong has to pay the bills somehow, right? The game must be glitched...all he does is run forward at full speed. I can jump, attack, and rewind time but he just barrels forward at full speed. Reminds me of a bad Atari 2600 game (yes I'm that old...now get off my lawn you damn kids!)
An exceedingly well executed and clever game. Technically well done...maybe bring in a level designer and you've got yourself a franchise...it's that good.
Not ready for prime time. Controls aren't always responsive and there are some bugs. For example, at the bottom of the screen where it tells what you killed/ate, from time to time I saw "undefined".
Eh...good graphics but the controls are a little wonky - they don't feel quite right and that makes or breaks a fighting game. Amusing concept, even if I'm going to hell for playing it.
I love the Atari 2600 graphics and gameplay. The controls could be a little better...hard to run and jump at the edges of platforms, but overall a good game...nice retro graphics and play.
Beautiful artwork, great story. Nice implementation - it's not picky where you click. 5/5 BTW to easily spot the differences cross your eyes so the two pictures merge into one - the differences will stand out as if they're highlighted.
