Something not mentioned, I believe, is that pieces can freely be moved around on any of your turns as long as limiters don't prohibit it. Pieces placed are not there permanently.
Came for the badge, enjoyed it a lot all the way to the end, played Axeman just for that badge-getting attack power. Final boss was impossible, speed so high that I get nuked before I know what's going on. Spent an hour grinding and trying over and over and no dice. Ah well. Fun for what it is. OCD is going to nag me on this for a while, though.
You've earned enough money to purchase a core attack. Press upgrade! Now click to buy the core attack -- not enough money, buy some with cash. Wait, what? No money is saving? Replay, nothing. No money for upgrades at all. Ha, well what's the point? This became the badge of the day how?
Well, I made it to Floor 3, Level 6, have explored all rooms available except for a locked door I don't have a key for. I have a skull key, though, which doesn't seem to be what I need. I cannot go back a level to hunt for more keys so I am officially stuck. I imagine this isn't a feature or is there some kind of reset that I'm not familiar with? I was getting into it, though, and nice job for what little I was able to play.
Fun little game, love the use of Kongpanions, but I have one small complaint: only one of the 20-something kinds of armadillos can roll up, the three-banded armadillo. We see this used so much, just like Dillo Hills, and each time is a moment squandered that could have used pangolins instead. Every pangolin can roll up, they are naturally adorable, and need much greater global awareness. The name even comes from the Malay word for 'something that rolls up'. This isn't a complaint about the game itself, of course, as it is a very fun time-spender. But pangolins need more love!
Upon unlocking the drawer at the beginning and the subsequent 'scene change' I suppose I expected more surrealism overall. It still worked well as it was, though for a moment I was wondering if this game was a nod to the old DOS 'Dare to Dream' series. Finding a somewhat useless or limited use item that is retained through multiple parts of the story that (usually) ultimately finds use in some major way can be a fun aspect that was played out in DtD and has been adopted by many other authors such as with the Alice is Dead series. Not sure if that's your plans here or not, but it will be interesting to see what you create if you decide to continue this.
Cute game, cute character. Reminded me a lot of Pip/Tsumaru from Chrono Cross with the evolving aspects combined with such a cute factor and maximum evolution of Beast appealed to memories of Poshul/Poshuru, but with bunny ears. That's some predator! XD Make sure to save your game (the diskette icon in the lower left of the main screen) before trying for an evolution. Even with a 70-odd percentage chance for an evolution I had to reload two or three times because I kept getting everything else. I made it through boosting bounciness first, adding bounce upgrades (and getting the skill that sometimes doubles your bounce) and focused on speed/power and max speed last. Just a pity you can't get an autosave from that last jump you make. Some of us like to go back and play until we max out everything.
