Game bug: If your ship closest to the bottom happens to be killed before your other ships, it highlights at the start of each turn. Since you can't do anything from a "dead" ship, your other (unhurt) ships cannot act, and the only options are defeat or retreat. This ONLY happens when the bottom ship on the player's side is killed before any other player ships.
This is SO much more than expected of a single-player flash game! The depth is stunning. My one complaint is the map. The compass bearing/distance info is printed in white, on an off-white background. This information is VITAL, and yet it is virtually invisible. (BTW, I prefer this one to Caravaneer 2, in terms of story... though I'm very glad you got rid of the eye-squinting graphics for the second version. Some of us gamers is old farts, who're in "progressive" lenses, and this game isn't friendly to that. I love the mini battle-map in the other, so I can switch/scout locations quickly without all the scrolling. And I love the larger graphics in general. I just hate the PLOT on that one -- and the limited number of locations you have access to in the early game.)
On visiting my second town (2 days away), I started walking and never stopped. 13 days passed, I still had an (unchanging) 2km left to destination...I finally reloaded.
Having some trouble with elevators. How do you get them to work, in buildings more than 2 stories tall? Mine will not "build" taller than that, and if I try to set up banks of elevators (one from Fl 1 to Fl 2, and another from Fl 2 to Fl 3) my employees will not use them... OR, an elevator that looks like it should go from 2-3 will in fact go from 1-2.
