Decent game, but it doesn't save dungeon progress after exiting. If portals can save progress or if exiting the game while in the dungeon can save progress, the game would be much more time friendly. Additionally, it would be nice to know how many levels there are total, like some sort of level counter e.g. Level 3/16
Update: Beat the campaign. Legendaries are not necessary to do it, but they are nice to have. Flame Awakening and Ice Awakening are the most substantial buff your champions will have. You get major stat increases and a new passive. Join good alliances and their Guardians will carry you. I've opened a total of 32 Gold Chests so far and my drops have not improved much: 1 Legendary (Imbrus), 7 Rares, 24 Commons. (most of them the same drops over & over). They really need to make Gold Chest drop a Rare champion minimum. It's incredibly disappointing EVERY time
Gold Chests, the equivalent of packs, are so bad in this game. Opened 18 of them; got 1 Legendary, 5 Rare, 12 common heroes I already own. They really need to make Gold chests not drop common heroes or they need to make the compensation a lot better than 1 Astral token. It feels worse opening a gold chest than a hearthstone pack
It's actually a decent game. Although there are clear advantages for paying, you can get by without paying. The problem and major bottleneck to this game is mana requirements to upgrade skills. It gets very expensive to upgrade a skill and there are no great means of getting mana apart from spending gems, which are sparse. So eventually it becomes a pay to progress game. If the mana wasn't an issue, I'd say this is actually one of the better games on Kongregate
Reached lvl 127. This game has so far been really unpleasant to play. Constantly needing to edit the deck to counter the next opponent after every fight is ANNOYING. Fighting against opponents who have 3 action points & better cards forces you to build a deck that counters theirs in order to progress. You have to play them at least twice, once to scout their deck then another after editing the deck. If the player can have 4 deck slots or if all the same deck type opponents would be in one area or if the player can have the same number of action points as the AI, I think the game would be playable
Hi Rainwatr, I'm sorry you don't like our game design, indeed some levels have been precisely designed to force you switch decks and try different strategies, we did that to add some challenge and make it less repetitive. Regarding the AI action points, we have received many complaints about it, but it's the only way we have to balance the battles, otherwise it would be too easy to beat the opponent, it has to have some advantage over you. Rainwatr, you need to get to at least the first milestone (reaching an specific amount of friends recruited that have reached an specific level). If you hover one of the rewards some info will popup such as "Recruit 'x' friends who have reached at least Level 'x' to receive this reward."

@Crywolf511 I think Android hero power is fine as it is because you spend a bunch of mana to remove a creature without board development, so just playing cards from hand is better than hero power most of the time. It's only ever useful if there's one giant threat like a huge creature or an invincible creature blocking your attack. If you're behind on board, Android hero power will not save you. Keep in mind, the Mutant can do almost the same thing for 4 mana, this is far more dangerous as they have 6 mana to play stuff.
After playing this game some more, it's actually a huge improvement in many ways from Heroes TCG. Even getting gold isn't that bad. I take back my previous comments about the game, this is a 5/5. Good job Frozenshard!
I don't know what later missions are like but hopefully, it's not like Heroes TCG where the opponent has double your mana and runs kill cards. Having beaten it, I can say it was an RNG nightmare where you have to keep resetting until they don't draw the removal.
Gameplay is alright, even if it takes many of the ideas from the past games, I like the cool new mechanics and I like that it's made hero powers more accessible.
The problem for this game is the lack of gold. In Heroes TCG, every card you get from a pack can be used because there's no factions. In this game, not only do you get less effective gold per mission completed, often times the packs you open contain cards you can't use yet because you just don't have enough good cards from that faction. Would be nice if there were more starting cards for each faction.
There just aren't that many dailies that reward gold and the gold rewards are miniscule. Haven't even gotten half-way and the game already feels twice as grindy.
I see, it should have definitely been a visual glitch, of course. We will review this and hopefully get it fixed for the upcoming versions of the game. Thanks for the heads up!
