This game's pretty fun, reminds me a bit of Solomon's Key for the NES.

The game's pretty fun, but I hate Facebook, I won't game there, stop trying to get me to play that stupid miner whatever game every time. All it is doing is annoying me, making me not want to play this game or any other game by this developer.

Part 2: There seems to be to big of an element of pay to win. It feels like that as I go up in level, and as guild competition is developed, those that buy cards will end up always ruling the roost. In the end, that will drive a large chunk of the player base away. I know Hidden Dimensions (another CCG on Kong) gets tons of kudos for avoiding pay to win elements. For now, I would give the game 3.5 stars, but it could be a five star game.
I've played for a decent bit, the game is fun but has a lot of rough edges/annoying things. The system announcements are super obnoxious. I don't care who opened their pack to get what, or whose win streak has been ended by whom, etc. Make opt-in channels for people that care. I dislike that a research upgrade is only for the player that bought it. Make it cost more and let everyone chip in to get benefits for everyone. The chat system is screwed up. It often resets itself to public chat/listen to all. It needs to stay where it's put. The friend suggestions at level up need to go. The room invites sticking around after they aren't relevant need to go. There needs to be a way to block/report people that do harassing stuff. The constant invites/requests you get are really annoying. You should be able to have settings such as 'only allow room invites from guild members' 'only allow room invites for boss fights', etc. That will cut down on the annoying stuff big time.

There really needs to be a way to block the idiots that send you dozens of guild requests.
It is really annoying when a tournament starts and it spams the crap out of everyone with the "soandso opened a tournament pack and found whatever".

Is there no way to report someone being a pain in the ass?

Man, this game gets super boring when your worker dies. Nothing at all to do but it there and watch, and even that's worse than it should be since I have no idea if the enemy worker is alive and doing his thing (even though my troops have been over there enough where he definitely should be dead).
This game definitely has problems, as others have noted. You can't attack their worker, you can't even SEE their worker, you can't get your worker back, you can't control what your people do, you can't attack the tower, etc. In all, a game with simple fun potential, but ends up being too simple and feeling unfinished.

So, a few more things: Anytime you pick something up or close a window, the keyboard commands don't work. I couldn't go up the stairs after killing the Skeleton King, is this intentional? I haven't tried anywhere else (if it is intentional, please remove the stairs from the map, I died because I thought I was misclicking in my attempt to use them). I agree that the 10x thing in the shop is silly. Penalty-free death is also silly. The town feels so empty! That Fire Sword/mana thing keeps happening. Multi-strike being restricted to swords is a little lame, especially with no axe-only counterpart skill. The walls/pillars can really get in the way some times, making it hard to see/click on monsters or objects. Easy town portal is nice, takes away a really tedious part of most games like this. I picked up a black potion, no clue what it did or where it went. Speaking of potions, easy potion management (i.e. none) is also very cool.
Pretty fun so far, easy to get into, noticed a minor bug: Fire Sword level 3 (as Next Level, so Level 2 is current) shows that it will cost 4.3999999999999995 mana to use.
Auto-lose is lame.

While the game is pretty to look at, it's also pretty boring. A lot of the "quests" are really damned stupid. "Go report to soandso" who is standing 10 feet away is not a quest. Being able to insta-teleport to the next quest objective, or just auto-walk there if you're out of teleports, is not playing a game. Pay2win sucks. Being attacked and killed while out and about and in Peace mode sucks. Combat so far is dull as hell since the game plays itself thanks to auto-combat. I should have taken it as a warning sign when the instructions tab is nothing more than exclamation-point filled hype rather than actual instructions regarding the game.

This is easily one of the best games on Kongregate. I love all the options for setting up challenges in the fields, plus all the different gems. I replay fields just to try out different ways of beating them.
