You can choose to stay neutral. Just don't join either of them.
It's really easy. Almost like doing nothing at all. There's even extra events if you do.
Well, congratulations, you destroyed my arguments on Great Sea and Ice Land.
But Paralysis + Poisonous Wave can be counteracted by Burning Hill and Chaos Desert, both of whom have Remove Effects.
And Ice Water has freeze defend, which takes away about one hundred health points each time. Sure, they lose special, but if they wait until they have 100 special then in the next round they have 80, so... they lose nothing.
Forty rounds to kill them with poison. Only works on two of the clans, unless they beat you first, which they have the magic to do.
This is why the game is good. No one clan is superior to any other. They all specialize in an area that they are the best in. A member from any clan can rise in the ranks. Each clan is the most powerful in their own way.
Yes, but the character that we play ALWAYS goes first. Also, paralysis takes away 9 points of poisonous wave, so it would take 40 rounds to get them up to poisoned death.
Dark Fire clan can silence their ability to use special and then poisonous wave cannot be used. Furthermore, trade life can not only undo all of the damage you've been doing, but also nearly kill you. you have to beat Dark Fire Mages quickly if they know how to use magic. This is simple for Chaos, Great Sea (absorb damage), Burning Hill, and Ice Water (freeze Defend), but your method, as I've explained, would be very slow. You've also admitted that HALF of the clans can remove the effects, and other poison mages can negate the effects of your poison by poisoning you. Great sea drains your mana twice as fast as you drain their health, are you really going to take the chance that you'll keep up your mana for 40 rounds when they aren't taking away from your mana bolts?
Being a horrible person who joins the white robes can allow you to get a basic power level of fifteen. Power orb + damaging orb + High Mage Staff + white mage talisman.
You can also get two extra defensive bolts. Great Sea Orb + Book of White Magic.
You should be able to choose whether or not you want to kill Battlebeard on the DELIVER BATTLEBEARD POTIONS questline, instead of it being madatory that you kill this guy who's about to make you the Great Mage.
It would be nice if you could see the top 10 Book of Mages at the end, after the big final battle when you just killed the bottom half.
Skullrig: Dead
Corpsedusk: Dead
Battlebeard: Dead
Witchthorn: Dead
It seems like a bunch of new people would come in.
Those of you who think that chaos desert is overpowered, you're wrong. Let's take burning hill mages as an example. By the time that Chaos desert has enough skillpoints to do the EXTRA ATTACK, they can have eighty simply by using increase special, and can do mana shield to block. Then they send one of those huge C attacks, which crumble through the mages' defences, and WHAM! dead.
Yes.
