Gotta love that moment when you take your firetruck (or other large vehicle) and do a jump into boxes, brick walls and hordes of zombies that would make Evil Knievil proud.
A bit of a problem here. I've twice had to restart my browser due to it freezing up, and both times when I restarted the game, I was set back to an earlier time, with a lot of the progress I made taken away. I'm not sure if there's anything that can be done about this, but I thought it would be nice to let you know.
There is also another issue you might want to look into. I can't stop playing because this game is too addicting.
This is a beautiful little game you made here. Personally, I love the idea that each story is a whole world on its own. It's a wonderful thought to think that people live lives outside of what we see on a page or screen, and that they continue even when we finish reading it. And I would love to see more from this one, even if it doesn't come in the form of another game. After all, as is said in the game, stories can be powerful, especially well done ones like this.
Manliness is when you can beat up hordes of angry mutant animal with nothing but a pair of boxing gloves. True manliness is doing that while making sure that no harm comes to your AWESOME mustache, no matter how much damage your body takes.
There's a few things that could make this game a lot better. The one that jumps out at me is the ability to switch the ball that's up for launching and the one that comes after it. Seriously, that alone would improve things greatly. At the very least it'll make things more playable by allowing the player to have a semblance of strategy by setting up large groups, or by saving a bomb for when they'd actually be usefull. As it is now, it's slow, clunky and frustrating. It has potential, it's just not even close to achieving it yet.
I just have to say I find it immensely amusing that you can watch old, cheesy sci-fi movies on the in-game terminals. A nice little touch there for all the strange people like me that will actually sit and watch them.
