Nobody actually thinks the world will end in 2012, it's just a popular concept that developed most prominently from (as BiggestOfJesters said) the Mayan Calendar, among other things; because the Mayan calendar stopped on December 21st 2012, people decided that the Mayan's might have forseen the end of the world as being on this date. You can learn more about it on this wikipedia page: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2012_phenomenon.
As for the game, I thought it was pretty fun, just that there should be a mode with no time limit.
MRmeaty - what are you talking about, the game works perfectly on my computer and I have Windows 7, I don't know why it's not working on yours and nobody's going to make a patch for a problem that only exists on one user's computer.
Spoilers!!!! Sorry for the double post, but I also didn't notice anybody commenting on the end part where if you started the game as, say, a boy, when he asked you at the end if you were a boy or a girl, if you choose "boy" then he says "no, you are a man". I thought that was pretty interesting.
The best parts for me were the beginning with the gender choice - I definitely was not expecting that - and the "I loved you" at the end. Great game, 5/5 (though the controls could be better).
Hey people - stfu about achievements.
The game is pretty good, it does really need a save feature though. When I lose the game after spending 10 minutes playing it, I really don't want to start the whole thing over.
goddammit I hate it when people say "oh you can mute your computer speakers HURRRRR". The reason people want a mute button in the game is probably so they can listen to other music while playing the game.
I like this game :)
People, it's not supposed to be a very long game and it's not supposed to have amazing gameplay - the message carried in the game is the important part.
