Excellent game. Short, but quality takes time and it can be difficult to release longer games in a small timespan. Character design is interesting and neat. The only thing I didn't like were the quirky comments made by the protagonist. Its good that he's cynical, but when he calls something "awesome" or does some cutesy thing it just seems out of character for a grizzled witch hunter. I preferred the first one in that respect. That's most likely nit picking, though. Very enjoyable.
Really good game. It had a nice blend of vivid beauty and unsettling dread that puts a game like this in a genre of it's own.
I like how the story is open enough to be interpreted numerous ways. I personally think none of the characters represent real life people, but rather facets of his own subconscious. For instance, throughout the game, Pete's main objective is to "ring the dore bell", as evidenced by his own mind telling him (the writing on the walls). Certain characters give guidance and keep him focused and others act as obstacles and dissuade him.
As for Pete living or dying, I think it's left up to the player to decide.
I just wish there was a way to reset an account. Just started, not really knowing what I was doing, spend what little gold I had on a knife I can't use and kinda don't wanna play anymore. A redo would be nice at this point.
I don't see why people are ragging this game so much. It's simple and fun. Yes, there are some parts that are impossible sometimes, but it's so short that it's not a huge deal.
Good scenes, cool story, awesome elephant. GO GET HER!!
Fantastic game; 5/5. I preferred the first over the second simply because of the track. This one song is better than all the ones on the second. I wish I knew what this piece was called or where I could get it...
