Basics are fine, but there is still a lot of room for improvement:
- A grid for easier tower placement
- The costs are unbalanced for some turrets (tesla, beam are too expensive)
- It needs a save game/continue game function
- Give more starting gold. I dont want to start with a pixel tower or where I need to place it on a bad spot because I do not have the funds to upgrade its range.
- It is unclear when towers are connected unless they are fully build. Either make them connected when they touch each other and remove this difficult thing of 'the outer blocks', I find that difficult to understand what you mean with that. Or you show something when towers are connected before placement. For instance, connected towers can light up.
- Also the specials are quite unclear in what damage they do and what the cooldown is on these specials.
So unless changes are made, my score will be 5.5/10, 3/5
- Button to start the first waves and fast-forward waves
- Button to speed up
- Pause button
- Menu button
- Restart button
- Mute/Sound button (if you get sounds)
- Interface looks really boring: graphically worse than the first mario
- More towers/traps
- Show the tower stats at least...
- Path (light green) and non-path (dark green) is not really clear. Make it darker?
- Ability to sell towers
- Maybe a power limit and towers use power?
- Different enemies
Until this is implemented just one star, because it is basically nothing yet. But it can have potential because the fundament is there.
- Towers cannot be sold
- Towers sometimes disappear
- Layout problems (text is very unclear, especially the money)
- No tower description
- Same enemies over and over, very repititive
- Not challenging: too easy
So just one star untill this is fixed
-1- Bazooka is worthless, because it kills more of your men. maybe replace it with a mortar or grenadier?
-2- BUG Trenches just disappear without refund? :S
-3- Units on fire burn/die to slowly
-4- FASTER TP, way to slow (more units die -> refund TP?, less units -> more TP?)
-5- button for music and stuff, and red light for a spotted plane?
-6- Bunker isn't worth 5 TP, improve it or change the price
-7- Special opp isnt much better than an engineer
-8- More health for expensiver units, like 125 for Eng, Sig and Off and 150 for Cov opp and Sniper
-9- All Units are a little slow, maybe an upgrade for that or so?
Great game though
Things that i liked:
1 great strategy
2 nice random
3 many choices of soldiers, weapons, etc
Things i didnt like:
1 Tank is allmost worthless
2 one enemy grenade can kill a lot of your men, even when its not really close
3 buying grenades for units are useless, they never throw a hit so far
4 i dont rank up? :S
5 enemy artillery OK, paratroopers OK, but the bomb goes to far, you cannot shelter
6 It is very hard to station 6 or more men in 1 trench
7 barbed wire is not always usefull and more to useless
8 it is to expensive to get a signaler
9 machine gun lacks enough skill (10 or more), a gunner with less than this is useless
